Lacey will forever be in my heart and mind. I was at the Berkeley Marina the day she was found. As I sat in my car looking out at the bay I kept saying to my friend" she's out there"! My friend kept thinking I was acting a fool and as we were leaving we saw all of the police cars. It was Passover. Thank God she was found with her child. I knew Scott's fishing story was fishy. He can rot in his cot! What a blessing that we don't have to have another trial that monster!

People would have struggled a little more with believing in his supposed innocence if he had even shown an inkling of care or concern for Laci’s disappearance. Especially given the fact that she was 8 months pregnant. But he didn’t show an ounce that he cared about her whereabouts. He wasn’t pushing the detectives to work harder. He wasn’t calling them constantly for updates or asking what else they were doing to find her. Just nothing.

Does anything sound wrong with the Scott Peterson case??? In 1978 Charles Manson was first eligible for parole. (Charlie murdered no one). Tex Watson was said to have committed most of the murders that the Manson 'family' was charged with--- was first eligible for parole in 1976, this was just a few years after the grisly murders. Now can anyone please explain why Scott Peterson was sentenced to life without parole??? Scott has been in prison for 20 years and most of that was on death row. There was no forensic evidence to connect Scott to his wife's murder. In fact, the whole trial was a three ring circus. Many people who were convicted of murder have been paroled. But for some reason, not Scott. Even though Scott is not a violent person and could have returned to society as a productive member.

The Golden State Killer didn't get the death penalty for killing 13 people and raping 50 women in a series of break-ins that terrorized the state. That shows it's all politics and the media.

Do a lot of you Americans have erroding faith in your justice system? This over-publicized case is a glaring example that perhaps you are far ahead of many countries in many ways, but when it comes to matters of crime and punishment, you are sorely lagging behind. Take your pervasive death penalty, for example. Every other civilized country, except Somalia, has abolished capital punishment. Why do so many of you support this archaic practice? Those of you who are clamouring to get SP a new trial have to face the reality that, had he not been released from death row, he'd likely have been executed by now. The US needs to move into the 21st century when it comes to your criminal justice system and the punishments inflicted on capital cases in many of your states. This whole controversy that's ensued is blatantly uncovering a legal system that allows cases to be tried by the media and how deeply flawed your whole system is. If you SP supporters would put half as much time and effort scrambling to get this man released and instead using your activism into persuading your state senators to try to improve your lagging justice system, then changes can be put in motion. Do you all make a habit of voting? I've heard that many Americans do not exercise their franchise. My father always maintained that "If you don't vote, then don't complain about the results." There's a bigger picture here.

Charles Manson only applied for parole a few times, as he was basically a career criminal and had spent most of his life locked up. He was institutionalized, in other words. As for Tex Watson and the rest of that murderous family, they have gone before the parole board numerous times and have always been turned down. Sharon Tate's family (relatives of the 8 1/2 months pregnant Sharon Tate who, along with six others, were brutally massacred in their homes) made sure they were at every hearing. Watson claimed to be a born again Christian, but Doris Tate(Sharon's mother) saw through that nonsense. The only one who eventually did get paroled was Leslie Van Houten, who was released two years ago at the age of 72. She hadn't actually dealt the lethal blows that Watson and Susan Atkins inflicted on Rosemary La Bianca, but I highly doubt that her life is a positive one outside prison walls. Nobody will hire her at her age and she'll end up either on the streets or in some rat-infested dive. Scott's family would only have a minor influence on his future and their hands would be tied as far as getting Peterson employed and providing him with anything close to a decent living environment. So if he actually did get out of prison, he would likely go down that dark and dismal road that Van Houten did and is still struggling with. True, he could still ostensibly gain employment, but his notoriety and crime would follow him everywhere and the chances of him obtaining a job outside of custodial work are next to nil. Most importantly, a lot of people hate him and and harbour a great deal of animosity toward him for the crime for which he was convicted. That's the reality, like it or not.

*Study: Prosecutorial Misconduct Helped Secure 550 Wrongful Death Penalty Convictions* A study by the Death Penalty Information Center (“DPIC”) found more than 550 death penalty reversals and exonerations were the result of extensive prosecutorial misconduct. DPIC reviewed and identified cases since the U.S. Supreme Court overturned existing death penalty laws in 1972. That amounted to over 5.6% of all death sentences imposed in the U.S. in the last 50 years. Robert Dunham, DPIC’s executive director, said the study reveals that this “‘epidemic’ of misconduct is even more pervasive than we had imagined.” The study showed a widespread problem in more than 228 counties, 32 states, and in federal capital prosecutions throughout the U.S. The DPIC study revealed 35% of misconduct involved withholding evidence; 33% involved improper arguments; 16% involved more than one category of misconduct; and 121 of the exonerations involved prosecutor misconduct.

From California jury instructions - 'Both direct and circumstantial evidence are acceptable types of evidence to prove or disprove the elements of a charge, including intent and mental state and acts necessary to a conviction, and neither is necessarily more reliable than the other. Neither is entitled to any greater weight than the other." Many convictions are based nearly entirely on circumstantial evidence without controversy. It's a wonder how much the police already let on to their suspicions of Scott prior to any news coverage crew approaching him, not to mention that it could've also even been something of common knowledge for him to be aware that significant others are automatically top suspects until shown otherwise. However, it does appear suspicious of Scott... if I have this correct... when he told Amber he was in Paris when he was actialy amidst a search party and/or gathering for Lacy. It could also be though, that she was expecting a call from him soon enough and with the commotion in the backround... in the event Scott had to answer to her about where he was and what he's doing, it can be convenient to mention a place that Amber couldn't verify... and perhaps not extensively question either, which Scott probably didn't want to think about his current environment momentarily. That said, Ambe couldn't ask how busy the mall was or how long the line is to the smoothie bar. Or ask Scott why he's at ..., because there closed on Sunday or closed down entirely. Better safe than sorry... and then Scott could focus on whatever and all there was that he actually wanted to speak about. Now obviously, he could appear something of callous by calling Amber at such a time, but with the police, media and public giving Scott a hard time any which way they happened to up to that point... it's a wonder if his frustration couldve amounted to where he finally decided to go against the grain of the guilt trips. Not that this would make his actions OK, but Scott probably wanted to keep what was left of his previous life (before becoming a suspect and having a vehicle driven through his office, an offering to Lacy's mom to take a hit out on Scott, the detective saying he KNEW Scott killed Lacy after arriving to Scott's home on day 1, etc.) maintained as he regularly would have.

Anyone who actually knows what’s going on now can see right through you Ted Rowlands. He said he lost his wife…”according to her…” No Ted. “Not according to “Her”. He admitted on tape that HE did in fact say that to her. According to SCOTT, he lost his wife. Amber wasn’t a turning point and not a soul thought he was “probably going to walk” until Amber-that-pesky-villain came along and changed the outcome. This is JANEY PETERSON’S version of the story that Ted is happily regurgitating. It’s a Peterson campaign phrase that Scott ‘only lied to and about Amber’. Not true. We have dozens upon dozens of documented and recorded lies that Scott told. No one goes to prison for ‘cheating’ which is another campaign phrase. Scott put Scott in prison, not Amber. Ted is not surprised Scott didn’t get a new trial because everyone just hates Scott? Seriously Ted? He’s a convicted murderer! That is why he’s in prison. Nothing happened to merit a new trial. That’s why he didn’t get one. You guys now have to hone your ridiculous excuses why Scott was avoiding the media too. First it’s ‘because he had a girlfriend’ (Ted’s favorite) and then he’s dying his hair, not to flee but to once again, hide from the media. The media who didn’t even KNOW where he was before Laci and Conner washed up. Where are the photos of Scott coming and going from Anne Birds house? Where are all your interviews with Scott at Anne Birds house? No tabloid photos either. How could that be!? The meeeeediaaa was hounding Scott right? Not in MARCH! No one could find him or cared. The story died down. The bodies washing ashore ignited the story again because it was the bay where Scott was fishing! Omg! He was framed! Really? First frame job in the history of mankind where the the real killers HIDE the evidence they want to plant in hopes Mother Nature steps in and washes it to shore. Ridiculous. I’ve been documenting Ted Rowlands Peterson parroting. It’s borderline illegal what he’s doing. Especially trying to make himself a witness 15 years later when his own video debunks his statements. Yes Ted. We know about that too.

Geez man when is it fair to have a trial where people are not as consumed as with the what finding of and for the person's innocence first here? No DNA evidence were found around the home. Eye witness testimony by the local mail man (mail is registered legally it acknowledged that Lacy was out with the dog) as neighbors said they seen Laci walking her dog after 10:18am. Scott was as seen at the boat launch as around that time of Laci seen here walking her dog. Physical evidence runs like that through this whole case. But all you all think about is the emotional so stuff. Scott not in love with oh his spouse it doesn't make a murderer out of him. It does not prove murder. Too much evidence in this case points to the guys here innocence. Nancy Grace and Megyn Kelly are piles of soil dung. Circumstantial evidence is just as incriminating, Bob. A judge recently ruled that the alleged jury issues in this case did not constitute a mistrial. A quick google will tell you that the number one cause of death for pregnant women is being murdered by their partners, hence why Scott calling his mistress from his dead wife’s NYE vigil was so incriminating and a blatant giveaway as to his motive in murdering Laci and Connor. @ReneeFabulous-wt9ty Why don't you answer these, ReneenayFabNayNay? When and where did Scott transfer Laci's body from the truck to the boat in broad daylight? And why didn't a single witness see or hear him killing Laci or transporting her body anywhere? -Why did any and all forensic testing come back negative for biological evidence of a dead body in any alleged crime scene? They even tested the water in the boat, Negative results. -Conner (baby) was determined to be alive until Jan 3rd by both the States expert and the Medical examiner? Furthermore, Dr Charles March testified there is no way that Scott and Laci Peterson's unborn baby could have died any earlier than Dec. 29, 2002. Dr Allison Galloway determined the baby could have even been alive as far along as Jan 14th. So how is he guilty if Laci was alive after the 24th? -How did Conners body end above the water break and high tide line if he was in the ocean? -How did his left ear get permanently flattened against his head and a rectangular piece of material was over it? -Why was their no animal feeding on Conner whatsoever? - How did plastic wrap get knotted around his neck that had to be cut off, not far from a plastic bag which was never tested? Dr. Cyril Wecht, who examined Conner's body but who did not testify, told Greta van Susteren that Conner's head measured 28 cm circumference and his neck measured 20 cm (On the Record, October 27, 2004). 28 cm = 11.02360 inches; 20 cm = 7.87400 inches. He confirmed the measurements in another interview with Fox News, and expressed his disbelief that the twine accidentally wrapped around Conner's neck. He also conjectured about the baby being in a bag. -Why was Laci's uterus was at least 10 cm (3.9") smaller than it should have been? Certainly explains why the incision to remove Conner was not visible on her body, and the injured 9th rib, postmortem injury is in the same location where such an incision would have been made. -Why did police ignore evidence, tips and sightings that points in a completely different direction? Isn't it standard police practice to track down a missing person's last known whereabouts? It's not like they didn't have credible eyewitnesses that seen her walking on the 24th. Some called multiple times. Police ignored them. Sounds like tunnel vision and incompetence led to her death since the science proves she was alive after that day. - Why was there no cadaver scent if Laci had been dead in the boat, warehouse, truck or home?
