Good job buddy, im working a Scott lawnmower almost just like that one i rebuilds the carburetor once only i had to set the valves clearance top dead center at .004 I also left the carburetor filter cover off with the lawnmower cover over some plastic for awhile now it's doing the same thing your lawnmower was doing in your video i think water has gotten into the carburetor, Thanks man

1:10 do you know what torque to put those bolts on going into the plastic? I was getting fuel in the primer bulb again and one of my bolts were loose (could tighten it by hand) and I cannot seem to get them tight. Hope I didn't strip them.

I noticed you put the throttle linkage in the wrong hole here 7:37 because you later switched it to here 9:15. (why the hell do they put two holes in it?) I had a little trouble remembering which hole and decided to go with the one with the black metal grommet in it. Edit:Follow up. Yes that is the correct one in case anyone is reading this.

Can anyone verify if the correct hole is the one with the one with the black grommet? I've done this and moving the throttle lever manually does not move the butterfly on the carb. Should it? Thank you!
