This man does not realize the influence he's had on so many lives. When I needed some kind of connection with God, I went to Creed, and then to all his solo stuff as well. I prayed through all the madness, and here he is still going strong and making music. My children grew up listening to Creed and Scott Stapp on high volume in the car, and my funeral song is going to be One Last Breath, because we're always six feet from the edge and when you fall you know God will catch you. Keep doing what you do with God at your side, Scott Stapp! You are an amazing singer and writer.

I just heard this song in the radio and knew who it was instantly. No one sings quite like Stapp and it’s that way with a lot of great musicians and artists to where you hear maybe 4 or 8 Vars of the song at most and you instantly know who it is- no one sounds like Mark Tremonti? Myles Kennedy, Scott Stapp, Jerry Cantrell, Hendrix, Page, Van Halen, etc. but them. Also, this lighter sound crazy but I’ve been a Creed fan since day 1 when My Own Prison came out as a kick ass Summer rock radio single back in the day and I love Creed, Alter Bridge, Mark Tremonti, Scott Stapp, and Myles Kennedy’s solo albums too man. I wish Scott, Mark, and Myles could do a collaboration together somehow someday man even if just for a song or EP. Scott has that powerful deep voice and right to the heart lyrics, Mark is the guitar king of the past almost 30 years and sings really clear and sounds cool on vocals, and Myles can play the guitar like a jazz music guitar Professor and has that long clear high pitched treble voice with the Washington State accent just like the late great Chris Cornell (RIP). All 3 of those guys singing and playing guitar on a track together would be sonic bliss man- just listen to how cool 70’s rock where they had complex guitar parts and everyone singing like Emerson, Lake, and Palmer was hit this would be a post-modern Triple Rectifier Mesa Boogie drenched version of that and would be incredible I think. All the best man, I love all you guys work. Truly the best guys of this era in rock music.
