I have to agree that his solo stuff is better than Alter Bridge recent albums. The first 3 AB albums killed and 4th one had a few great songs like Water Rising. However Tremonti solo stuff is great all the way trough. Maybe it comes down to the fact that those guys are pretty busy with other projects. Like Myles having his own solo thing AND the band with Slash. Feels like the quality of AB dropped a bit. Still love 'em though 🎸🎸🎸

I remember the first time I listened to Mark singing. I was in the album Fortress from Alterbridge, the song was “Waters Rising” (one of my favorites) and I remember thinking “Wow, this dude should have an album singing, he has good singing”. The year was 2017, I was still in college, I was very numb at rock, and I guess I am still, always discovering new stuff. After doing some research, I found he already did two album solos, It Was All I Was and Dust. Fell in love with it, this guy is a genius and I am a very fan of his works, at Creed, Alterbridge, and Tremonti. All of them have songs that are part of my life and were with me in good and bad moments. Thank you, Mark, you rock!! Hearing Creed and seeing Tremonti play PRS made me get into guitar and heavier stuff. Followed them from the end of Creed, to the beginning of Alter Bridge, and on. When Tremonti started teasing his solo stuff, I remember he put short clips of a couple songs on his site. Hearing his vocals on The Things I've Seen, the first snippet of his solo stuff ... blew me away. He's come so far, and been one of the most consistently growing artists, guitar players, and songwriters. Still feels like he's a little less-known then he should be, but those who ever come across him, know. To top it all, he's a true family man, and the nicest dude. Had a coworker go to NAMM, got his autograph for me, and saw him later at a show.

Every time I immerse myself in Tremonti’s music, I’m struck once again by the remarkable individuality of Mark and his band. There’s an intensity in their sound that’s not only electric but also transformative - it's as if the sheer energy in their music could breathe life into a new universe. Mark’s voice, with its unique texture and emotional depth, needs no embellishment; it speaks for itself. In my opinion, he stands as one of the most undervalued musicians of our time and this goes far beyond his vocal abilities. His prowess as a guitarist and songwriter is exceptional, bringing a level of authenticity and artistry that’s increasingly rare. I’ve already ordered the new album, eager to see if it can somehow surpass the brilliance of the previous ones. This band continually raises the bar and I have no doubt they’ll surprise us yet again. @@matthewmatt5285 Don't get me wrong, Black Tide was a solid band and So Broken is a good song.....But I wouldn't exactly put it on a pedestal and say it's "transformative". It's 2000's metalcore that's fun to vibe with and rock out to. Not a song most ppl are going to listen to and go "This song is so unique and life changing."....It's just a solid metalcore track lol. Something transformative imo would be like Devin Townsend's Ocean Machine album (That album is one heck of a trip and seemingly timeless lol). But everyone has their tastes.
