I love his voice, God has definitely blessed him, but I guess blessings come with a price, but I can relate, I am 10 yrs your senior, but I have been were you are. Running from God, running from what you know is right, the difference is that you have a talent that we all love, you have that great voice, I could go on forever,. Go Leo go!!!!!!

I totally understand Scott looking left so many times and getting kinda pissed. I played a show once where the stage producer (or some name like that) kept yelling at me how many minutes we had left in the set. and its still up on youtube during the middle of our last song I have to hold up my hand to tell the shitty sound guy not to cut us out, and at the end of the song I looked over at the people getting pissed at us and we only went over by like 2 minutes. and that's after we got cut 10 minutes

Crazy to think just a short 4 years from this, he lost the voice and acted so strange and odd with his creed return
@forestmullens61777 жыл бұрын
He never "Lost" Shit dude. He faded while he was on drugs and abusing himself. That voice was powerful in 2010 when i saw him with creed,it was powerful as hell when i saw him in 2013 Solo,and now its better than ever with Art of Anarchy. Scott Stapp is not Scott Weiland , he never lost his self entirely to a point that the music in him died and he became a skeleton that Weiland was within years of STP .
@adamfanalways6 жыл бұрын
He actually did lose his voice for awhile! He had surgery on his vocal cords, he had a callous that became a node, that was causing a blockage and swelling! He had to relearn to sing, he still sounds great but it did change what he was able to do for awhile, like when Creed got back together! But I love Scott he can write and sing whatever he wants! He's a amazing poet and can deliver a performance that people can relate to! This album is amazing! He's in a better place, now being diagnose with bipolar and he's taking care of his health! He finely has answers to self medicating that he was doing to himself for years! I'd still love Creed to tour again and make another album! Quess time will tell, either way I love Scott's music and happy he's in a better place! God bless him and his family!

I don't want to take away from Scott's song, but they sound like they're trying to recreate Creed. Both the guitar and drum styles sound like they are imitating Creed. I don't know the actual artists enough to make any judgements, but that's the way it sounds to my ears.
@Portubed10 жыл бұрын
Scott Stapp was the main songwriter in Creed. Creed's songs = Stapp's songs. What you actually see here is Stapp doing the same thing he always did, and picked people for his band that would fit the style of music he likes and is known for authoring. They were only good enough to perform for him, they aren't trying to recreate any "band". It's just the guy that was behind all those songs all along. Except Tremonti's awesome riffs though.
@randomprobability9 жыл бұрын
+Portubed you got it man! Do you like Alter Bridge? Tremonti is still a BEAST!
@joshwhite92117 жыл бұрын
Tremonster had a lot to do with Creed songs. A lot of melodies came from Mark. As a band (Creed) they completed the emotion the songs needed. Every person in the band gets credit. It's not one person's song that's why it called a band. Scott can play and sound how he wants to as well as mark. I like Creed alter bridge and tremonti albums. I would buy another Creed record if they released one. As a whole was great music and performances. As well as alter bridge tremonti project ect. As for as his musicians, they filled the part he needed and do a great job. Experienced or not. Wish I could have play for him for this record.
@Swanlord055 жыл бұрын
Well I think it's the style of Scott....he got a low voice...so the guitars gotta be tuned down.....and played in key of D....the saddest key in music.... which were tremoni/Creed classic tone
@Swanlord055 жыл бұрын
I just wanna add a side note....tremonti was good at creating nursery rhyme like melodies on the guitar in a rock style

Not exactly his best appearance. He's flat a # of times, and chopping the hell out of the song itself. Sorry!
