As a die hard Scott fan, this broke my heart watching this. He's clearly intoxicated and off his face. This is why I don't like to watch live performances of him past 2012. Because he was a shell of the real Scott Weiland by then. I saw him in concert early 2011 before he started to go right down hill and he was fucking amazing. I keep that performance and his solo and STP catalogue as how I remember Scott. Not the sick, sad, over worked Scott Weiland we have here. :'(

Yup. Dude should have been in a hospital. We don’t leave people with a broken arm or heart attack untreated, but we insist on allowing addicted folks to ‘hit bottom’ repeatedly - even if it means their death. Sometimes love means intervention. Too bad nobody had him do a Ulysses contract. smh

I have spent many of the best days of my life with STP and Scott's voice surrounding me. His music has been by my side throughout my/this journey and will continue to be. STP is a part of me and they have brought great joy into my life. Still Remains was with me when 2 of my 5 children were conceived. I remember well. God Bless you Scott Weiland and STP, for you and your band are loved. Rest in Peace

With his physical appearance aside, this sounds fine. Not the best but certainly worth a listen. On a seperate note, Weiland's struggles/antics by no means overshadow a brilliant musical catalogue he has left us. Instead of bad mouthing a legend, go listen to any of the many beautiful songs he gave us and be thankful we have them.

This was a month after STP fired him, and here he is, covering an STP song. I bet when it all went down, Scott was probably like, "fine whatever," but deep down, I bet it really bothered and ate him up. I've never been a Linkin Park fan, and I'm not saying Chester isn't talented, but, I feel it was a slap in the face to replace him the way they did. To me, it reminds me Luke 17:30-32. "It will be 'business as usual' right up until the Son of Man returns." Rather than fire Scott, replace him, be "honored" that you're replacing him, be some band that wouldn't really be anything without Scott's name in front of it, but screw it, let's play with him and act like he didn't get fired for a reason. Yea, Scott was the cause of many fans being angered because of his excuses or, maybe they were valid burdens, but, no fan or song or money is worth a human life. My good friend was an artist. He left behind so much art, and you know what, I hate all of it. I hate that it's the only thing left of him, and rather than pray for his soul which was troubled, they just, concentrate on the art. To me art can and will distract you from being able to use that last second to keep the demon from biting in. There's a time and place for everything, and the world would still turn, if there wasn't art. I want my friend back, even if I were blind and deaf. I'd make art out of rejoicing his presence with the senses I do have.....Everybody should have put their guitars down, and helped him. I know you gotta help yourself, but they should have made it hard on him to hate himself, and it's easy to hate yourself when you feel worthless and passed over. I'm not trying to critique or blame anybody in the prevention or contribution of his death. There was a lot of accountability on his own part that he fumbled, but at the same time, it's just too bad love couldn't have prevailed. I'm sure many demons were after him. The more you say yes to sin, the more demons enter in, but, even if you say no to sin, they still hate you and want to drag you out of the light. There was a lot against him. Some know now but just didn't realize from before. We all die. Love isn't afraid to stand in the rain and wait up on you. Love isn't afraid of poverty or what others think. It lives to fight death off you. As humans, we make it awkward and politically correct to look out for and confess things to one another and we get prided, so we busy ourselves with mere things and sometimes we're distracted and preoccupied with those things while someone is off dying because they took too many things. We let things get in the way of us. It shouldn't be that way. We should be conscious to call a spade a spade. To call death what it is and in sacrificial love, fight it, even if you have a kinked tolerance for it. Death is a pain to deal with, but you can't just pretend it's not there, for that's not love, but cowardice. Thanks for being part of my life Scott. People made fun of you in the early years. People made fun of me in Jr. High for listening to you. Those same people love your stuff now. I evangelized Tiny Music like no other. That album had such a surf vibe. May The Blood of blood be upon you Scott. I thinks it's awesome in the Core liner notes, where the band gives their thanks, you're referred to as, "The Blood." And you thanked Jesus Christ too. Only member of the band.

This song was great and so was Scott. But not here. This is like watching an amateur up on the stage. He no longer has the depth in his voice that he did in the 90s but I don't think his voice is completely blown. He could return to being a great performer and singer if he would stop screwing around with A: whatever got him blacklisted from Velvet Revolver, B:whatever got him kicked out of STP, and C: whatever made him sound like this. I'm not hating on Scott, I'm a huge Scott Weiland fan. Therefore I know what he's capable of and this isn't it by a long shot. He could become great again, he could possibly even one day get back with STP, but until he changes points ab and c above, Chester Bennington will remain the front man and he currently pulls off a better Scott Weiland than Scott Weiland does anyway.
