Such a beautiful piece. It's a really personal and unique approach to the Quiet Music sensibility. Love it.

I love the end. The whole process is kind of transcending Feldman, and in the end it really breaks through to a different sphere. It could make a good pole position for a new piece.

Beautiful combination of the piano with the other instruments - creates a surprisingly serene soundscape. Does there happen to be any program or performance notes for the piece?

Great piece... it is possible to play an Eb on DB? I think is pitched a half tone down. Regards from Argentina!

Yes, the string is tuned down to Eb!

When you see instructions in the score ' Help remove vibrators quickly' you know you are not in Kansas anymore.

I enjoyed this piece immensely. As a card-carrying member of the Society for New Simplicity in Music I would love to have penned this myself. There are a few occasions when the notation might be suggested more simply (still!) and one or two occasions where it makes little sense, but these are personal views and do not detract from the music one iota. A very well imagined and thoroughly professional piece.

What does "bass drum bug" mean?

Curious to that as well, maybe an electronic device...?
@nikolausgerszewski2086 Жыл бұрын
I'm not sure, but I guess it's an electric toy bug which is put onto the bassdrum.

I take it the title is meant to be ironic..:) I couldn't see anything in the performance notes that explains the ratio [4:3] that keeps appearing in brackets....eye music.
