Fabulous arrangement for organ of this well known suite. And a very versatile instrument to play this, the cymbal, gong and glockenspiel are a superb addition for concert music.

Watching this gave me immense goosebumps, as it brought back so many memories of studying this piece. Hearing it being performed on such a majestic organ brought a whole new dimension and level of enjoyment. I was lucky enough to catch a live concert in Bridgewater and I truly hope that I would be lucky enough to watch another live concert, especially the performance of this wonderful transcription. Easily one of my favourites amongst New World Symphony and Four Seasons. Thank you Tom and Jonathan for bringing such acoustic joy to our lives.

Fabulous!!! Oooh, that takes me back a long time ago when, as a young child I was taken to see the Nutcracker Ballet. I can't remember anything about the ballet but the music will always be fondly remembered. That is an incredible organ, perfect for playing this piece. An excellent performance & wonderful video. What a lovely surprise!! xx

I remember it too as a young child. It was on a 78 rpm disk, much loved and listened to but scratched. I can't listen to the finale without hearing in my mind the place where the needle jumped back a groove, repeating the "da da...daa da, da da... daa da" without someone adjusting he needle to play the last 4 or 5 bars. Even now when it gets to that pivotal point, I hear the needle stick and I want to jump up and stick my finger on the needle.

Die skott Brothers waren auch in Billerbeck zu Gast und haben dort auch ein sehr beeindruckendes Orgelkonzert gespielt und zwar die symfonie aus der neuen Welt Dieses Video ist auch auf diesem Kanal zu sehen.
