Seems to me like Shia is a good dude. It's an art project meant to bring people together. The lost interest in filming comes from the desire just to take in the moment for yourself. If you truly experience life, a camera can get in the way. This is not selfish, this is truly living your life. I think this is Shia's Message to us all.

This was such a blissful and fun video to watch, and you guys seem so comfortable with each other. I'm sure the road trip and the whole experience just made your friendship even stronger. Which, I believe, was the ultimate goal that Shia must've had in mind - for people to bond even if they are strangers, to forget about such things as stardom and focus more on the real life experiences, on the beauty of nature and human relations. Wow man, at first of this video I was a little skeptical at first. But once you actually met him at the beach, I was like relieved because you had the chance to meet him and your trip wasn't all wasteful. When you guys had the pleasure of spending 2 days with them and had the time of your lives, that made me very happy to see because those moments you will cary for the rest of your lifetime. Having said this all, it wasn't all about Shia that made me write this long comment, it was when you said "there is something to be said about getting five strangers on a road trip with you to create these special moments. Also when you said instead of recording the events, you wanted to enjoy them, and to extension enjoying life itself" What a great message you had at the end and you actually inspired me to do this with other strangers even if it is not with a celebrity and to enjoy life with them and create special moments.
