I'm sure we all want to be out in the rain, the cold, the early morning, for hours on hours, and then deal with annoyed drivers wondering why traffic is backed up. This is so stupid. He's being charged with assault because he went the wrong way down a road around the course that had a confusing traffic pattern, so a cop decided to JUMP ON HIS CAR. He pulled over immediately. They keep saying "10 yards" but it takes 1 second to travel 30ft in a car so let's drop that "being dragged" narrative. The cop was doing typical pig stuff and acting like a huge snowflake after the fact. This is clearly a made up charge. They even threatened a reporter with arrest just for asking questions. The only good thing that hopefully comes from this is that we can ALL see how cops lie, overreach and try to ruin lives. This is seriously criminal on the cops part. Period.

Is there any clearer evidence that the police in this country are out of control. Think of all the people who have been arrested/detained with bogus charges because of a police officer's ego and power trip. Before the world of video, we were told encounters like this were isolated incidents, you don't hear that anymore, because incidents like this are commonplace. It's time for police reform, citizen oversight and limited qualified immunity. Until police officers are made to be personally responsible (like everyone else) for their actions, episodes like this will continue as police have no reason to stop bullying the citizens they swore an oath to serve and protect.

I’m sure the officer in this situation was in the wrong or overreacted but by no means are police, “Out of control.” Look at the cities. Crime is rampant and in many cases police aren’t allowed to stop crimes anymore thanks to libs

It sounded like this cop that went after Scottie only arrested him to save face. Lets not forget there was a fatality that was tragically. Scottie got caught up in that traffic and this happened. Jeff Darlington did a badass job reporting on this. Micheal Collins, Americas favorite caddie reported other golfers and caddies werent having an issue getting into the course. Clearly this cop was on a power trip and is now trying to save face. Thats my gut reaction right now.
