Now that you mention, has anybody ever built a Karmann-Ghia with the engine in this configuration but then the front wheels moved at the back and cockpit turned around so that the original rear engine configuration was restored? It would look like the car goes on reverse. The back becomes the new front.

Just amazing. Reminds me of the insane Viper V10 that they shoehorned into a motorcycle frame many years ago, the Tomahawk. Supposedly capable of "over 400mph", it technically is not a motorcycle because there are 4 wheels, but they are right next to each other in the front and back. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z4nImZ6DhtWYr6M

That my friend is the sickest custom jacked, picture perfect thing of beauty I've seen in a long time. What you guys have done to that little ole Ghia absolutely blows my mind.I had a 57 Ghia many years ago,I loved that car even though it was kept exactly original from the day it was made until I bought it and I drove it for two years, didn't change a thing, not even the original blaupunkt radiol(which didn't work any more). It had the 1200cc motor, no syncromesh for 1st gear but I could fill it up with gas and drive for two weeks before I needed to re fuel.I miss that car so much but never would have dreamed I would see something as nuts as what you have created. My hat is off to you guys, well done!

To be able to Smoke the crap out of anything you encounter must be Awesome!!! And just as embarrassing to those who try it... I bet you can't wait to get it on the road to experience that first hand!!! lol.... All the modifications made that can be seen, like the Mini Cooper headlamps just enhanced the look. I wish I could see it in person to really be able to appreciate it. Seeing it online is one thing but I'm sure you have to see it in person to get the full effect. I wish I could put my dad’s VW Bug he built back in the early 70’s when I was 5/6 years old. 327 V8 crossram intake, Muncie 4 speed. Since it was made back then it has a black shag carpet interior with vinyl diamond tuck panels and roof. Hurst shift with the two finger reverse lockout. Clarion stereo with integrated CB radio. 4 wheel disc brakes. Dual exhaust comes out of original spot but turned and flared 30 degrees left and right. Black with large metal flake paint. Flared fenders and a Darth Vader like grille opening in the hood. Car is just badass and still has the best engineering for being over40 years old. Sits on a modified Austin Healy chassis. In the 80’s he installed a 383 and a B&M low profile blower.
