Just wanted to share how much I appreciate these videos. I was paralyzed after a spinal cord injury last November and have been working to stay off of pain meds while maintaining my sanity and ability to focus. These videos really help pull my thoughts away from the physical (and emotional) discomfort towards a more calm centered mind. Thanks for the time and effort you put into this content, it really makes a world of difference for me as I’m sure it does for many others!

I have Spina Bifida, so although it's not a Spinal Injury as such, I still have the paralysis. I do also have a few other health problems too, and Josette's videos help me a great deal too, particularly dealing with pain and insomnia.

I discovered ASMR after a brain injury leading to years of disability, pain, fatigue and mental confusion. It really helped me get some much needed sleep most nights, some days too. Eight years later and I'm now able to walk properly, have less fatigue, almost no pain and my mind is back. I still watch ASMR at nights though. I hope you have a path to some recovery. It can take a long time.

So happy for you that you have gained a huge measure of control back, and thankful that you could take the time necessary for yourself. Mindfulness is key to keeping oneself alert to needing time to become grounded again. Whenever I use the word “should” it tends to send me in a direction of shame and guilt based thinking, starting the cycle of bad habits I am soooo glad you found a center that could guide you to a place of inner calm. Being a Christian I find it disheartening that meditation is not taught more since it says to do so, Philippians 4:8 states in one translation that “whatever is true ,noble, right, pure, lovely, admirable, excellent, and praiseworthy, think about such things”. You remind the rest of us to do just that in your videos, so thank you so very much! I am excited to see where and what happens next for you.

I just got home from work. After cooking chicken all evening for KFC Taco Bell, I hope I deserve to relax lol. I suffer from extreme insomnia and anxiety torment and this helps. Also keeps the agonizing thoughts and dread of being lonely all the time to a minimum. You're absolutely gorgeous and your accent is soothing and majestically lovely to listen to.
