My uncle works on oil rig for 3 years. He's an electric guy, same as Caz! When I show this game to him, he's certainly happy, but somehow he told me that this is exactly why he didn't really want to work on oil rig anymore. So much horror nor phobia you have to face on. Glad he's back for Eid Al-Adha. He told a lot of fun yet scary stories to us his niece and nephews, about his journey on the rig. What a wonderful game he said.

That's good he likes the game 👍 My experiences offshore were always pretty good, I didn't come across much horrors! 😉

I love when people with relevant careers play a game. It’s always a fun time to see the reaction to all the little details! Also when finley started talking, you had a nice smile :3

Interesting watching someone who has worked on a rig playing this. What was your boss like compared to Rennick. The games rig being more like the piper alpha rig, what was your rig like
@22nukes3 ай бұрын
@wysiwyg2006 hi! So I worked on a bunch of different rigs from UK, north America, Norway Africa, so was never settled on 1! So all were different. Never had a boss that bad but a couple douchebags here and there! I was however on the piper bravo for 3 weeks!

@@22nukes I never considered a job on the rigs, always been office based .but read the money is good so could of done with that rather than the debt. Thanks for your service on the rigs,if not for people like you we wouldn't have the modern world we have now..

@Kaltsit- they are very similar, the land ones are just more spread out and require more walking! 😀

Do you know much about cosmic horror? :) if you like this more Cthulhu games would be right up your alley! Btw: the reason why the man in the round submersible was acting insane s because he laid eyes on the thing.

I do not know anything about cosmic horror! I'll have to look into it! 👍

I figured that was why! A lotta people didn’t know or attributed it to claustrophobia but I always felt it was due to him having seen it.
@Sera666Ай бұрын
He didn't just lay eyes on it, he's claustrophobic, was infected, saw it, and was locked in the dive pod for the rest of his life, the people are conscious while infected and in constant pain.

I remember my dad working on the rigs, he was a pipe fitter, he usually worked in the shipyards but spent time on the Magnus field, we spent quite a few holidays in Eyemouth as he always left from an airport outside of Aberdeen. I've still got a paperweight he gave me with a rig in the middle of it

It’s already satisfying when I watch Scots play this but *a genuine Scottish oil rig worker* is almost too satisfying to bear! Your vids should have more views simply because of the parallels! By the way I love how you guys roll your “R’s”. I hate Rennick but my favorite line in the game is “Get off my Rrrrrrigh!” 😊
