I’d love to have Premier make a comeback on the US marching band/drum corps scene. Such fantastic sounding instruments.

There's no doubt their pipe band gear is super awesome! Are you in a band, Dominic?:)

@@RhythmMonster Only my high school marching band. We're very old school, to say the least. Think old school Ohio State in terms of drumline technique (or lack thereof). I'm about the only one into DCI or anything. Our instructor does pipe band drumming though, and introduced me to it. Absoultely love it!

@@domokornmusic That's cool, Dominic! Most of our team marched DCI and were bummed that we couldn't play serious stuff after we aged-out. We really think that more high school, university, and especially DCI guys would LOVE pipe band drumming if they could see how badass it is. So glad you're director has introduced it to you!!!! Be sure to check-out the site for more badassitry: www.Rhythm-Monster.com

Rhythm Monster Totally. It’d be cool to see a line to bring back the top snare units that were in vogue a few years ago, the Yamaha MTS and dynasty double snares and such. Such a cool sound effect. And on the other end of the spectrum, I’m curious as to how advanced we will see Scottish tenor drumming become in the future, with tonal drums becoming the new standard. Obviously within the context of a traditional set I’m sure they’ll continue to fill a more traditional role, but it’d be cool to hear more advanced tonal parts in a drum salute or such.
