The only thing scissors are used on in making a Kilt is cutting out the Scallops and threads. RIP the material, it will tear in a straight line. The longest length of fabric in a Traditional Kilt is 8yds. The "Whole 9 Yards" is NOT in reference to a Kilt of any type. It was referring to the ammo belts during WWII. "Give'em the whole 9 yards" those belts were 27 feet long. A 8 yard Kilt runs up towards $500-$600, not $85 You are obviously a knock off company.
