That's a virtual duet... They never performed this song together.. Unfortunately. This song is originally written from Lara and Igor Krutoy and called "Vocalise - Ascolta la voce" and Lara performed first only vocalizing and adding few italian words (Ascolta la voce, la senti la voce). Few years later Russian lyrics were added for Dimash to perform it.

Love your reactions ❤I wrote you a long explanation between the relationship between Lara, Dimash and Igor. I know you are busy and must have missed it. I'm going to paste it here but i wrote it originally under your reaction to Mademoiselle Hyde. But this will explain how they met and what they did together. Everyone in the comments is right about this being a virtual duet. I actually like this mashup duet but i also really think the solo performances that these shots were taken from are stand alone stellar events. Oh by the way... that instrument is called a Duduk. It's an Armenian instrument and Dimash really likes it. He used it in Story of One Sky too. So here's the previous post i made and i hope it helps. : "LOVE❣ your reactions so thank you! Ok let me fill you in on the back story of Dimash, Lara, and Igor. So in 2017 Dimash who at the time was 22 was on the Chinese Singing contest for established professional singers (Singer). This is where the entire world learned about his talents. I could go into detail about that contest but another time maybe. The 6th song he sang in that Contest was Laura's song Adagio and he just smashed that song! So Lara who was in France saw that performance when it aired. Lara and her composer Flavian had a chat about it on WhatsApp. Some of what they said was: "His vocal skills are great! His performance is outstanding! A very strong voice! What if we meet with him?" So that was the first spark💥 - Meanwhile through another avenue, Igor Krutoy who was in Russia of course had heard rumblings about Dimash from a friend of his. Now Igor is very rich and an enormous producer in Russia. Very much like a Quincy Jones like you said or you could also compare him to David Foster. Igor was said to be in retirement for the most part although I think he would do large events of various stars singing his catalogue of hits. After hearing about Dimash, he didn't really pursue him but a few months later ended up meeting Dimash by happenstance. Dimash met Krutoy in August of 2018 at a party thrown by a famous watch maker... Jacob & Co.... Who Dimash later did a couple of photo shoots as a model for the brand. But this was a birthday party and Dimash performed there. Krutoy happened to be a guest at the party. After the performance, Krutoy and Dimash spoke for a while. Krutoy invited Dimash to take part in Krutoy's event called "New Wave" as a guest (Sept 2018). So Sinful Passion was the first of two songs he performed there and Krutoy was in the Audience giving him a standing ovation. So a month after this, Dimash was invited to Krutoys house in Moscow(Oct 2018) to pick out songs that he may want to sing. Dimash chose a few and then the following month (Nov 2018) Dimash sang "Love of the Tired Swans" at the Kremlin in Moscow at a very formal event. This was the beginning of Dimash and Krutoys very successful partnership. 2019 and into 2020 they did a ton of songs and events together. Krutoy has also written many original songs for Dimash. One of the most notable ones is Olympico! They are great friends now and will continue to work to together in the future, I'm positive. Because Lara had done a lot of work with Krutoy too in the past, she was invited to Igor's big birthday concert in October of 2019 that was done at VTB Ice Arena. Dimash performed 6 songs there and one of them was with Lara Fabian. Finally! So they did meet and they did finally get to perform together. The did a trio: Dimash, Lara, and Aida Garifullina....singng Ti Amo Cosi. It was beautiful and I hope its not the last time they are together. BTW Dimash met another hero of his there at that event. He met and got to sing backstage with Andrea Bocelli. You'll have to see that too sometime. Lara wrote the lyrics to another Dimash/Krutoy song. It's called Your Love. Also....i mentioned Lara's composer friend Flavian earlier.... Dimash has been working on an epic song with him. He met with Flavian again a few months ago. These are separate performances, as has already been commented on here several times. If you know it, you can see it. Different people in the background, and there are no figure skaters with Lara. In the 80s and 90s, there used to be skating shows with live performers on the stage, sometimes a singer with canned backing. They got some good singers for these, but not of the caliber Igor is able to get for his birthday or anniversary spectaculars. He's a billionaire and can pay for it. Televised skating competitions for pros used to be common, but not so much since the 90s. A number of skaters are skating to Dimash music now, in competitions, even in the Olympics. One of Dimash's best friends was an Olympic medalist from Kazakhstan who skated to his music, and the best was still ahead of him but he was killed during a senseless robbery. Dimash has a very great appreciation for figure skating.

You didn't realize that you were actually reacting to a virtual duet, they haven't performed that song together. The event where there were ice skaters was on Igir Krutoy's 65th birthday. He wanted to celebrate it with an event where the main performers of his songs would participate. Thanks for the reaction, Scott! It's interesting to see the differences in phrasing these two utilize in the separate performances laid atop one another; pretty kewl... If they were to do a live performance of this together, as consummate musicians and professionals, the synchronization of the phrasing, dynamics (and of course, harmonies, vibrato speeds, and ornamentations) would be so tight as to be astronomically stunning. It would be carefully rehearsed, scored, and REMEMBERED, we can be assured of that! (I hear so many duets that are thrown together and un-synchronized, making one wonder, "Did they actually rehearse this?? If they did, was every detail forgotten when it came time for presentation??" Too much extemporaneous noodling and inaccurate phrasing in a duet makes me think of these things and (for me) doesn't make for an enjoyable listen from those who are purported professionals. Carry on and have fun! 🤗

It's quite funny that, being a professional video editor and criticizing the video editing in this video, you were, however, misled and could not notice that this is a montage of two different performances with different orchestras, different stages, different audiences and different backgrounds. This is an amateur fan video montage, however, I say "Bravo!" to it, because the main goal was achieved - the voices and even videos from two different recordings of two different performances were absolutely harmoniously combined. Now about figure skating. Ice shows are not uncommon in the post-Soviet space. In this particular case, a fragment from the anniversary concert of Igor Krutoy was used, at which Krutoy's songs were performed in addition to world vocal stars like Dimash, Andrea Bocelli, Lara Fabian, etc., as well as world figure skating stars - Olympic and world champions of different years. This show was also staged by Olympic champion Ilya Averbukh. The whole concert was absolutely amazing, and its 2-hour version can be found on Igor Krutoy's channel. Its not a live duet, they were not in the same place at the same time. This was put together. They did both appear together, with Aida Garifullina, at a venue with Igor Krutoy. If u want to see real duets from Dimash, see The Pearl Fishers aria with Placido Domingo, Snr. at the Virtuosos competition. Also Tu Vas Me Detruire with Sundet, in 2020, Brucia La Terra with Marat Aytimov, one of his teachers, in a concert in Moscow, 2019. First...it's a fan made video merging their separate performances together. It's well done, but again, merged. Notice the background for both are quite different, also the orchestra location is different. That's why it looks muddled....😉 Never heard a recorder though have heard the name, had to look it up. The instrument in this song is called a duduk, an Armenian instrument. You should watch a fancam of the Armenian concert with Dimash singing an Armenian song, "I'll Die For The Wind of The Mountains" where he vocalised the duduk at the end. The Dimash performance you're watching is Igor's 65th Birthday celebration. He hosted it at the VTB arena with ice skaters, inviting artists he's worked with to include Andre Bocelli. This is also the event Dimash, Lara Fabian, and Aida Garafullina performed Ti Amo Cosi and where Dimash and Aida performed Ulisse. It probably would have been cool if they dueted at this event. You should listen to Dimash's lyrical version of "Know" at New Wave...part lyrics, part Vocalise. Then listen to his vocalise version at his Kiev concert. He vocalised this song at a few concerts and no two are the same, Almaty, NY Barclays concert, and others. He also has an official MV of this song, singing the New Wave version, with lyrics, with interpretive dancers filmed outdoors in Iceland. Great reaction. See you in the next one. 👍😊

My dad had the entire range of recorders (blockflöte - German), from bass to sopranino (which, as a kid, I used to call "the peeper"). As a woodwind specialist he could play them very well and make all of them sound very pleasant. Unfortunately, I must upset you - this performance is NOT a duet. Lara performed at the anniversary concert Igor Krutoy (60 years old) in 2014 in Moscow in the concert hall. Dimash sang the same song at another anniversary concert of maestro Igor Krutoy in 2019 at the Ice Sports Palace in Moscow. And the author of the video made a montage of these videos. Not a duet, but TRIO - Lara, Dimash and Aida Garifullina, performed "Ti amo cosi," a song to the music of maestro Igor in Italian at the same concert in 2019... I wish you a pleasant viewing!

Please don't put diana ankudinova in the same speech about Dimash because diana has absolutely nothing to do with the great master and the one and only Dimash..Is ok about Lara Fabian because is a very good female singer and artist,maybe one of the best female singer and artist,but neither she is in the same level of Dimash,simply because exist only a Dimash in the planet that is inimitable,uncomparable,and unique in everything and under every aspect..Between Dimash and diana there are many evident big differences,and just one of them is that Dimash is an international professional singer and artist known and famous in all the world,and his fame increase time after time,that for a totally free and independent kazakh and international singer and artist is a great result..While diana is just an amateur russian "singer",i don't like she,her voice,and the way she sings,her voice in my opinion is ugly and unlistenable,that maybe is good just for karaoke and some videos on KZbin for few reactions and views and nothing more of this..Dimash is of another level,quality,and planet..The Boss King Angel And The Living Legend Dimash Supremacy

I am a Dimash fan and yet I would never use such derogatory language towards other singers as you do. I have been observing you do this for a long time and I know that you put down almost anyone who thinks differently. Therefore I would urgently recommend that you seek psychiatric help. You over-idealize and defend Dimash to the point of insulting others. You are what one would call a fanatic and feel personally attacked when others do not put Dimash above all else....I am 100% a Dimash fan and yet I know that other people find other singers better...which is completely OK...and no reason to put down another singer like you do.
