I watched this movie yesterday. I was astounded (and disgusted) that 1. The movie was allowed to be released at all 2. Nobody was held accountable in any way & 3. There was zero mention or acknowledgment of those that essentially gave their lives for this movie anywhere to be seen. Rest in peace all three victims. You deserved so much better.

I remember when this happened. Ever since John Landis was acquitted on all charges, I have boycotted all of his work. The fact that he kept telling the helicopter pilot to keep getting lower for the shot, the fact that Landis had 2 under aged kids working at night and paid them under the table, the fact that 3 lives were lost on the making of this movie, and nothing was done to Landis, is an insult to the memories of the victims. John Landis should be buried under a prison. Even to this day, the whole story still gets me mad. Goes to show you that Hollywood folks are above the law. Great video Scott. You have such profound respect and class with each of your videos like this. May all 3 rest in peace. May karma come back to find Landis one day.

RIP Vic Morrow and those poor little kids. It's still so haunting to see the footage all these years later. Deaths that were easily preventable. Landis might as well killed them himself. Those involved practically got away with murder. You cover topics like this with such heart and class Scott. You're the best and have all my respect. Safe travels brother. Peace. Out ✌️❤️

Landis was actually yelling for the pilot to fly even lower, already below safety, when it was struck. Also sent everyone home and authorities not called for hours, who arrived finding almost everyone gone. Other than lawyer fees all he lost for everything he caused and covered up was Spielberg as a friend. It's incredible the way filming was allowed to operate and very little if any consequences except lawyers or insurance company premium increases.

John Landis has made some great films and is a genius writer as an artist but as a person he's a terrible person for being responsible for the deaths of a legendary beloved actor Vic Morrow to the deaths of two innocent children. RIP to all three. After reading about this and seeing other videos of the crash as well as the court case, I believe Landis and the others in charge of this movie paid some people off to get a not guilty verdict. That's why they were never prosecuted. What happened is horrific. I hope he has nightmares about it and can't sleep since he wasn't held accountable any other way.

In 1987 I was a juror on a trial in downtown L.A. that was next door to the Landis trial. Occasionally on break from the trial I was on I would see him standing outside conferring with his attorneys. The day the verdict came in, I happened to be on break. It was pandemonium with reporters waiting outside the courtroom and people rushing out. Didn't take long for Landis to come out with his wife Deborah. He was grinning ear to ear. There definitely wasn't any justice that day.

I was a year old when this happened. I'm surprised that Landis wasn't even blackballed as a director. I know Steven Spielberg cut ties with Landis. My sympathy goes to the morrow family, the parents of the two child actors and the helicopter pilot (I know he had to feel some huge tread of guilt for the rest of his life if he survived,) no amount of reckless effects were not worth the lives of these people in order to make a movie

Thank you for making this video! The Twilight Zone Movie accident is such a very sad tragedy that always interest me and makes me so mad that no justice was ever served for these three victims. I refused to watch any movie that John Landis made because of this, and the stories I've heard about the way he acted before, during and after the trial! When you were talking about the quote on Vic Morrow's grave, I saw or read an interview with Jennifer Jason Leigh (Sorry, I can't remember where! I think it was interview with a magazine?) and she said that her older sister Carrie was the one who came up with the quote that was put on their father's grave. Jennifer was estranged with her father around the time of his death and still till this day, she doesn't say why she and her father were never close.

Thank you Scott for this video and sharing your deepest condolences for the 3 victims and their families. Nobody deserves to leave this earth the way they did. It’s very unfortunate and sad I’m hoping they’re resting in peace and living on spiritually. I appreciate you in every way you are literally the best when it comes to sharing any video of a tragedy or a lost life. Much love for you and respect 💐🕊️❤️ 🫶🏼 RIP to those little angels 👼 and of course Vic 🕊️🙏🏼

Great video bro. Had no idea that Vic, was Jennifer's dad. Another Hollywood story that shows the rich dont have to be accountable for the actions. I still can't believe the movie was still released.

Absolutely disgusting behavior. 🤬 As beyond messed up as this is, I'm glad thanks babies weren't alone. If Vic was a great dad, no way would he have left those kids. Ugh, I hate this. Hi, Scott. I'll say it for you, that dude should rot in hell.

Thanks for making this video. I had no idea. Absolutely disgusting. I don't think I'll be able to watch another John Landis movie ever again.

Thank you for your professionalism. I'm a big TZ fan and knew about this tragic event. You covered it in just the best way possible. Man Landis is just hugely accountable but sadly he is tefton.

I was able to watch it and it was very interesting. I was wondering, I might have asked you this but did you ever doing a video about Adam Walsh? It happened around that time.

What I find so ironic concerning Vic Morrow is that years earlier, he played an unorthodox but determined sheriff in the drive in classic Dirty Mary Crazy Larry wherein his character chases Peter Fonda driving a 69 Charger in a helicopter that flies incredibly low and even makes contact with the car.
