Harry was like 5'5 I am 6' and Chris was 6'4 and the size difference was funny..

I have a great story about King Kong Bundy. My Dad traveled a lot when I was growing up and we used to take him to and from the airport quite a bit. Well one such trip we drop him off and we see Hulk Hogan standing there getting into a yellow stretch limo. Since I was 9 or 10 and my brother was 5 or 6 he was our hero. Well we screamed at him for a good two minutes and we were heartbroken he didn’t hear us. Well, heading back home we pass a yellow cab and I look over. It’s King Kong Bundy, terrified I look at him and decide I would smile and wave even though it was big, scary and mean King Kong Bundy. He looked at me, gives back one of the friendliest smiles I have ever received and enthusiastically waved back. I was STUNNED and frantically started telling my mom “Mom!!! King Kong Bundy just waved to me!!!” My brother flies over to my side and starts waving too, to which KKB starts smiling even larger and waves even more enthusiastically. It was really cool but left us both puzzled how such a mean guy could smile at us. Anyways, our first clue these guys play characters. RIP King Kong.

In 1986, Pallies appeared in television commercials and print advertisements for the Vendex HeadStart personal computer.[32] Bundy had two guest spots and one bit part on Married... with Children, as the creators had named the lead characters "Bundy" as an homage to him.[33] In 1987, he played Uncle Irwin, the brother of Peggy Bundy. In 1995, he appeared again as the King Kong Bundy character, teaching Bud how to wrestle. In 1988, he appeared in the Richard Pryor film Moving as Gorgo, part of a trio of ex-cons who are insolent and careless movers. In 1996, he appeared on an episode of Weird Science as himself. He is on the cover of Belgian band Belgian Asociality's 2009 album Kabaal. On April 24, 2008, he was on a Norwegian TV show called Golden GOAL!. Bundy also starred as Otto Belmar in the 2011 independent film Fight the Panda Syndicate. After retiring from wrestling, Pallies tried a career in stand-up comedy. He would perform regularly at various comedy clubs such as the Coffee Dot Comedy in Sea Isle City

What's wild about your comment is that I grew up where they're both from or lived-- as a baby until I was 10, we lived in Norwood, PA but my aunt lived in Glassboro, NJ so we were there practically every other weekend spending many days, holidays, winters and summers there. Bundy and Bigelow were both from Jersey but Bigelow lived in Florida. We moved to Spring Hill, Florida in the summer of 94' when I was 10. Spring Hill is quite literally the next town over from Hudson which is where Bam Bam Bigelow lived when he died of a drug overdose. Was just wild to me that you mentioned those two and I have ties to them location wise. Thought that was kinda cool.

When I was a kid my Mom and I would watch the US Open and Wimbledon. In the few years before she passed away we would often watch horse racing. Her favorite and mine was Game On Dude. He was owned in part by former New York Yankee manager Joe Torre. Glad he won races before she died. Gave my Mom some happiness during her illness. Still miss her

I live in this area (Washington Township, Gloucester county) since 1978 and I knew quite a few people who went to high school with him. Everybody had good recollections with him, and he was well liked. I've been watching wresting since I was 12, and I never lost my interest to this day.. Unfortunately I never got to see him in person., but several people I know had nothing but compliments. I hated to see him pass at a relatively young age, but at least plenty of people remember him. Back in the 80's, I worked in a bar in a small town just south of Calgary and every Sunday Goldie Rogers and Duke Myers would come in after Stampede wrestling and I would serve them and chat about all kinds of things. Goldie and Duke lived in the same small town that I did and they were both real down to earth nice guys. Duke Myers also drove cab on the side and I would catch a ride home with him after a night of partying in Calgary once in a while. Duke actually offered to train me to be a wrestler but I declined because it wasn't really something I wanted to do at the time.....Drats! Anyway, I was sad to hear of their passing many years later.

Hi Scott, Your monologue at the end of this video is so true. I was born in 1971 and I had the privilege of seeing pro wrestling in the 1980s, which for me was the zenith (folks older or younger than me may dispute this, and that's fine). Not just wrestling, but football and baseball (I was a Chicago Bears and White Sox fan, still I don't follow them like I used to). When you hear the news of someone who you remember playing pass away, it does take a little bit of your childhood away, a time when (assuming you had a family like mine, sadly not everyone does) as you said you were safe and well cared for, and things like this were so much fun. Wrestling for me was a soap opera. The characters, the storylines, the way they got into their roles and really made you BELIEVE that they were going to pound each other, it really was great. And it's sad when one of them who you remember dies. I had the chance to meet Bundy at a house show in Beloit, WI, back in 2001. Before the matches, he sat at a table and was giving autographed pics of himself for three bucks a pop. I shook his hand and got one, and it was at that time when I realized just how powerful the perception put forward on TV really is. He scared me as a kid, but when I talked to him he was one of the most polite and courteous men I ever spoke to. Every time I thanked him for making wrestling so much fun, he always- always- thanked me for being a fan. I'll never forget that. Thanks for the video tribute to one of the greatest heels of all time. And thanks for being patient with my long post. Take care, sir.
