Nice. A few years ago I had to shoot a truck commercial for the TV station I work at. My solution was to ratchet strap myself into the back of our other station truck and hand hold a gimbal as we drone one car around the other down the highway. Three years later people are still asking me how I flew the drone that close to the truck... to be fair I am known for my cheeky drone work, but sometimes what works is what works, never underestimate the power of hanging out the side of a moving vehicle. >_

What would like to know? It’s off of a junior boom and is just a K-clamp and a spigot into the base on the camera, the lighter the rig the better, and make sure to safety chain everything!

#shittyrigs love it man. Although this might look like content from nothing, its actually really helpful in the fact it shows to many how it is ok to improvise on a shoot and not having the perfect bought solution to a problem don't make you less professional.
