I wonder your opinion on the nature of someone who goes on TV, online interviews etc. talking about such a book. Is it some sort of desperate criminal thinking, or what?

Also, is there any evidence that NK knew of/found Shannann through or because of her Thrive online advertising such as FB posts/lives? Obviously, she and MANY other marketers encounter team members, followers etc who envy them or become obsessed or haters that way. I think aside from educating people about leaving disfunctional relationships (and recognizing they are in one) that we can also educate people to be more careful whe. they market/post to strangers on the internet with the end result of making money through their MLM (or changing lives and helping people as it is called when you're team building). I wish it would be addressed.

Watts had told NK that Shanann had walked out on him, taken the children but has left her ring. NK told him to pawn it. Nothing criminal about that. We have absolutely no idea what Watts had told NK about his marriage or what lies he had told her regarding the behaviour of his wife towards him. Too many people just make assumptions based on no evidence. He had even (allegedly) told NK that Nico wasn't his.

This woman had no conclusion in her tiny self centered mind that it seemed that the wife had no idea about her, or because of how the home looked? Who gave him the idea to put them in the tanks? Do you remember one phone call he had with a detective after they went missing and he had the girls' exact heights and weights? I never knew that exact information on my boys unless they'd just been to the doctor or they'd just been measured at home.

What did CW and NK talk about at Lazy Dog the Saturday night before the murders? I don't recall anyone ever asking either of them. NK could not or would not remember what they talked about for 111 minutes before SW came home. Did NK give him the idea to put the girls in the oil tanks? CW is a follower. I don't see him coming up with all of this on his own.

Steve, I agree with you. CW needs to follow someone. He needs direction. I believe he did the murders but I believe he needed someone to guide him through the process. He didn’t just come up with everything on the fly....he was carrying out a plan. They had a lot of chat time leading up to the crime🤔

Had he simply divorced from his wife and then been seen to be dating again, he would certainly have fallen out of favour with his and Shanann's friends, her family and his work colleagues as being the callous husband who abandoned his wife when she was 15 weeks pregnant, leaving her in debt, alone with two small children and one on the way. Unconscionable in the world of Watts.

Amen. Plus, if you study infidelity ... there is no love in it. There can't be. A real soulmate is not someone who has things in common with you but barely knows the real you as a person. It's the person who has seen the good, the bad, and the downright broken in you ... even smelling you at your worst, and loving you anyway. You can't know someone when you have a wife and kids, a full time job, other responsibilities ... and sleeping at night. You are only giving leftovers of your time to the other person. You're in love with the idea of love, but the reality is, you have real life with your spouse and nothing is real with the affair partner. She is just new, easy, and she goes out of her way to put you on a pedestal. This is AFFAIR FOG. A scientifically recognized thing that happens to a married person who cheats. Newness alone, is intoxication. New puppy, new car, new vacation ... dopamine is firing in your brain. So you may feel limerence or lust ... but it's never love. And this is why affairs predominantly fail. Last statistics I read ... only 10% of all affairs lead to marriage but within 5 years, over 80% of that tiny 10% will divorce. More divorce beyond the 5 year mark and very little make it long term. Why? Because what was fun when it was hidden and part time ... SUCKS when it's now your new reality. I tell people to just google these 6 words: ODDS OF AN AFFAIR MAKING IT. The answer? Grim. You binge watch any crime show and it's adultery galore. When will people finally learn? I say bring it back to God. Proverbs chapter 5 warned us a long time ago. It teaches about the Jezebel spirit (it doesn't use the word narcissist but that's what it is): She does not love God. She loves herself. She preys on weakness. She uses flattery and enticement to destroy a home for HER OWN GAIN. The path to her leads where? Death. ... Sends shivers down my spine because in the Watts case ... it's not just death of a soul, but the literal death of four beautiful people.

Keri Marie lol comparatively to now. None of my children are in debt, but they don’t live beyond their means either. They own affordable homes and not all fancy furniture debt, clothing debt etc. my Daughter has MS and medical bills are very expensive, so they have to factor that into there budget along with sports the children play. The same applied with Watts who was also treated with kid gloves for the same reason. If I have a concern at all, it is that currently NK is not a suspect in this case yet is being libelled and slandered all over the 'Net and there are those who might well harm her in some way - there are some unbalanced individuals out there. One particular KZbinr has said categorically that he has proof absolute that she killed the children. Naturally he doesn't say whether he has passed his evidence to those who might do something about it. I wonder why that could be.

From the start it was like NK was treated as a victim, which she is not. Why was her daddy allowed to come to the interview, and why was he allowed to stop the line of questioning during the interview? I don't know if NK killed the children or not. Watts said he did and pled guilty, so he is in prison for those crimes. I do think she knows more about what led up to the crimes than she has ever divulged. I have more questions than answers, especially when it comes to NK. As for her being slandered on You Tube, it's You Tube, and I have heard she hired a company who scrubs the internet for searches of a person's or company's name, something like a reputation defender. There is a company by that name who does that kind of work. She is a big girl. She can take care of herself.

As the investigation continue to prepare for trial, they'd be able to ask those questions, allow defense to in court and would use her as their star witness and motive for the prosecution of CW.. When CW took his plea it was a game changer bc all the facts weren't revealed and there wasn't enough probable cause to do anything w her. Hopefully someday that changes but they won't until tgey know they can prove beyond reasonable doubt. Chris would have to get talking.

People are so focused on hating Nicole versus hating the person that committed the crime, namely Chris. One person can’t ruin a strong relationship. We don’t what Chris really told her about his relationship with Shanaan. Be angry at the person that committed the crimes and that broke his marriage vows. There is no evidence that Nicole participated in the murders. The likelihood is that Chris told her he was going through a divorce and Nicole had already developed feelings before he told her (if he did) that he had not started any official divorce process. I’m not a fan of Nicole. She seems a bit young and vapid. But that doesn’t make her guilty and it seems like we are too quick to always blame a mistress when the fault lies with the person that broke their vows.

If she had not have Googled Chris and Shannan back in 2017, had not contradicted herself 100+ times during her police interviews, and if her phone had not pinged from Frederick on the very night of the murders, then I would agree with you wholeheartedly. Yes, she is young and 'vapid' is a great description. But most people are upset about the fact that it definitely seems as if she were involved and it seems to most that the police aren't doing anything about that. I doubt that they can now and CW will never throw her under the bus or admit to her having any part in the killings, if she did. So, we most likely will never know. But I do understand where you are coming from and thought it was nice balance to many of the comments on here.

The nearest cell tower is apparently on the other side of Frederick from the Watts house and around two miles from the main highway. Therefore, it is likely NK was on the highway going to work (an assumption I'm afraid) but one made by law enforcement (source: another KZbin Channel "411"). It was also noted by the investigators that the 'ping' was approximately 40 minutes after Watts had left the house to go to the well site. As there was no sign of anyone other than the Watts family being at the house (according to the neighbour's tape), there is no reason to suppose NK was there on the 12/13th August. NK's whereabouts were investigated after which she was eliminated as a suspect (Source: Investigators).

I think you need to take a step back here. Most people are wanting NK hung, drawn and quartered form what happened to Shanann and her children. I get the anger towards her, but I feel a lot of it is misplaced. Was she was the spark that ignited the flame, I think so. This does not make her guilty. CW killed his family, and no one else. I think she was manipulated by the master manipulator, who's been wearing a mask for years, the same way Shanann was when CW first met her. He came across caring, considerate evening attentive. We have all seen the videos of how she put him on a pedestal of how lovely he was and is. This, of course, was his mask. But do people honestly feel that if NK was involved in ANY way that the FBI, CBI, and Frederick Police Dept would let her be walking about free?. Of course, not. They deal in facts, and the truth is, there was NO evidence of her involvement. It's all speculation what some people are saying, but speculation does not give you prison time, if it did, the prisons would be overflowing, and new ones having to be built to cater for demand. I will say what I need to say here, but please don't feel I am being disrespectful about Shanann and her children. As it seems a negative opinion somehow demeans them. But we have to look at all sides of this tragedy . This is just my opinion looking in from the outside. Looking at her videos she did seem to belittle CW quite a lot. She has called him slow, and even to the extent of saying the Raspberry sounding toy he bought as "seriously Chris". This is all done to demean him as a man I feel. Then we have videos of her saying how wonderful he is, and how he saved her. I think this was done after a row, to let him know that she did not mean all the putdowns on her live Thrive videos. I understand her phone and live blogs were how she made money. But she was on there morning, noon and night. It must have driven him to distraction. It would me, and if people were honest with them too. I think Shanann going away for 5/6 weeks to North Carolina, was the catalyst for CW to do what he did. He had spent this time with NK and came to realise what was missing in his life with Shanann, also how bad the marriage had become. He could, of course, filed for divorce as Mr, Rouke, the Prosecutor stated at his sentencing. But CW contempt for Shanann and even his children would not let this happen as his feelings of contempt, anger and more importantly his mask was ready to fall from the monster that laid beneath. This, of course, does not mean he should murder his entire family, of course, I'm not saying this. He deserves to be where he needs to be. It was heartbreaking to hear how he callously. coldly did what he did. This was his mask finally coming off, and for Shanann and the children, it was far too late for them to truly see him for who he truly was. Sorry about the long blog.

The investigators did say that following her interviews and running checks on her whereabouts at the time of the murders, they did not consider her as being involved.

On neighbor Nate's security cam, the night of the murders, you can almost clearly see a women wearing jeans, long black boots pulled over the jeans, and black hoodie walking out of the garage. You can also see a long pony tail and the shades pulled up over the hair. The top half of this woman looks identical to the shape and silhouette of Nikki during her interview with police. This woman spotted on security cam cannot be mistaken for Chris as he was wearing jeans, but his company's t-shirt. He wore boots as well but they were not black. They were brown and his jeans were covering the top of his boots. When the woman walked down the Watts driveway, looks like a red car pulled out from the neighbors drive and went straight. I don’t think autopsy photos are always released to the public, likely everything that hasn’t been redacted has already been sent through FOIA requests

Denise Vasquez Lemrick why am I a sick person for simply understanding that humanity is capable of great evil? I think exposure to the true tragedies in life can be a positive thing, so many people cannot fathom or visualize something like this and viewing the truth and documented reality of such depravity can be a positive force for humanity. Shoving such images under the rug and pretending it doesn’t exist helps nobody, if you’re the type who cannot stomach dead bodies or death then don’t even worry about it, but many of us are mature enough to grasp such a thing. I have thought about this like everyone else has and can't really wrap my head around it but I have a partial thought about why the children. I think that there was an overwhelming connection or lust between those two (or they thought) that possibly she (nikki) made a statement that could possibly have been made even innocently of how she wanted, hoped or would never be his first or only love! How she wanted to be the mother of his children and would not be the first or only one to have his children. In a distorted way he may have wanted to make that happen for her the best he could and we know he was not the brightest star in the universe. It is a simplified thought but let's face it there was not and never will be a reason for murder. She may not even know what kind of impact a statement like that would have made but I think everything she said to Chris Watts may not have been recieved as she gave them. He was in a type of frenzy with the lust, emotions, hiding and the returning of his family. What if they found out, the kids everything running around in his head and possibly the words she spoke to him made the final push to make her his one and only. Not the the best reason but a reason for him to rid himself of his family. Just a thought.

If we look at the Scott Peterson case, there was no outpouring of hate for his mistress, Amber Frey. Why not?? Look at the differences in the two cases. Amber REALLY DIDN'T know Scott was married or that his wife, Laci was pregnant. Even so, she still publicly apologized to Laci's family and never once called Laci "that woman." NK has NEVER apologized to the Rzuceks, even though the murders were a direct result of her and CW's affair, whether she knew about what Chris was planning to do or not. Why did she lie about her knowledge of Shannan and her pregnancy, then do everything she could to cover it up, going as far as googling "can cops trace text messages?" She was googling "Amber Frey net worth." Why would you google that unless you were looking to make a buck off of these horrible murders committed by Chris?? Maybe the evidence of her complicity was in that phone SIM card that she destroyed? I believe she and Chris used burner phones as well. No evidence? Apparently not, as you have stated. You can't convict someone on being a homewrecking, lying, cocky, arrogant, manipulative woman, and the evidence just isn't there, I agree. However, her lack of emotion and she didn't seem to give a damn that four people were murdered and all she cared about was herself and her job prospects, is the reason she is so hated, in my opinion. I would have had some respect for her if she had done as Amber did, publicly apologize to the Rzucek family. Instead, the first thing she did was go get a makeover. OMG Seriously??? Four people were murdered and she's getting a makeover. Then, she ran and hid and changed her name. If you are innocent, then why do that?? Why not do as Amber did and publicly apologize for the affair? instead, she's actually flattered. Oh, he "took out" his whole family for me???? "Took out???" Really. Ugh. Chris was the monster, and he killed his family, but in the aftermath, she was only concerned with herself and covering up her actions. She was rude and cocky to Koback and she made herself look guilty. The hate that is directed towards her is BECAUSE of her actions, not because she was a mistress or that she's a murderer, Once Chris pled guilty, Tammy Lee herself said the "clock stopped," If they could look further into this, it sounded to me like they would. If only NK had handled herself with class and grace like Amber did. She did the opposite.
