The investigation would have taken much longer if Shanna's friend Nicole friend hadn't arrived at their house and called police to do a welfare check. Normally they would do their useless trick of not taking a missing persons report for 24-48 hours.....which would have given Chris Watts time to eliminate further evidence. But what the cops saw in that house that day made them immediately suspicious. So hats off to Shannan's friend who took action immediately and was not fobbed off by Chris's lies and excuses.

As someone who was in an emotionally/psychologically abusive relationship eerily similar to this, stuck in it for 26 yrs (took 20 yrs to figure out what was actually going on & then stupidly confronted him... Unmasking his insecurities, true lack of empathy, compassion or remorse, phew... Spent the last 6 of, desperately trying to safely escape w/ our teenage son) .... Nicole going there, being SO persistent AND calling the police.. were absolute KEY here!!! May we all have such an angel watching out for our well-being!!!!! RIP sweet Shan'ann, Bella, Celeste & Nico. Lives taken way too soon, way too needlessly, way too selfishly.... by a self-serving, narcissistic (raised by one too, imho) asshole & coward! Also imho, based on ALL the evidence, his words (& lack thereof) detailed recounting & my long time experience... I have little doubt it didn't happen exactly like he PROJECTED... Shan'ann did it... only it was him! That HE.... went into the kids rooms, was hovering over...... =( Then... crawled into bed, fully dressed... behind a sleeping Shan'ann to 'wake her up'...... aka... take her out. =( RIP Check on your loved ones, you never know... Know the red flags! Unfortunately, empaths, 'fixers' & codependents are the ideal targets in relationships for these toxic, cluster-B disordered (imho) individuals to take advantage, use... & abuse. It's usually so covert... you won't even know it's happening unless/until you are out of the relationship & can gain clarity. They come on quick... love bomb... bait.... say all the right things, appear as 'soul-mates'... don't take no for an answer... #INNERINTEGRATION ... a great vid on that channel about this case & about these types of personalities. I’m not condoning the murder AT ALL but I understand that that can happen in the heat of the moment if you snap but the dumping of the bodies and squeezing them through those tiny holes (stuffing bella through) then the drop into oil to me is the coldest part of it. When family members die you still love their body because that’s who they were and that’s the only part of them you have left so their body is important and you treat it with love and really and give them a good send off etc the thought of dumping one of my family members like that is horrible. NK didn't go to the Police out of the goodness of her heart; on the 13th of August, the head of Security at Anandarko (which oversees things like internal communications, email, etc) took a look at CW's digital print and found all of the communication with Nikki. They brought this to Nikki's attention and asked her to contact LE, after finding of their ongoing relationship. So she did meet up with LE after her employers prompt, but not until after scrubbing her phone of significant data. But....nothing to hide, right? That's how an innocent person behaves....not.

Everyone is under the presumption of innocence until the government proves guilt. The gov. has the burden of proof. NK might be the lowest of the low piece of garbage, but as of today, there's not 1 shred of evidence linking her in any way to the murders. As for as being annoyed.... yes! I am annoyed that people are very ignorant of the judicial system. By being ignorant or acting on emotions... that has led to a great deal of innocent people to sit in prison for decades for crimes that they did not commit. Some have even been executed and innocence is later determined. I am convinved that Watt's wife and children became a nuisance to him and that he was confronted with his true feelings when he met the mistress. This man had apparently no clue as to what he was getting into when he got married and wanted out. It all became too much for him and he wanted the single life again. I truly believe that he got to hating his wife and children and killed them mercilessly to get what he wanted. He really is a monster. He could've come clean with his wife and gotten divorced, but he evidently didn't want any responsibilities or ties to her or the children and decided to get rid of them by killing them instead. He didn't love her or his children because love doesn't hurt. It can't. Unfortunately for him, I don't believe that he'll last a long time in prison and that he might take his life or somebody will end it for him. He had a good life despite his problems; a beautiful wife, children, home and a very nice ride, eventhough it was leased. He had a good job, his wife was working hard too and they were apparently on the road to financial recovery; they didn't lose their home when they filed for bankruptcy, they got to go places and weren't broke and homeless, yet this man was so disatisfied with his life, that he ruined it altogether. Here's something that I was just talking to my boyfriend about last night. In 2018 I also came to the revelation that I did not want to be with my husband anymore. We had been together for nine years and had two kids together. I was not sleeping around or seeing anyone else at the time but I knew I needed to get out of that marriage. Telling him I did not love him anymore that I wanted out was one of the hardest things I ever had to do. Regarding NK's 2017 internet searches of Chris and Shannan, I believe NK, saw Chris at Anadarko's office building, where they both worked, and she liked what she saw and was interested enough in Chris to check into his background. Chris may have noticed her during this time as well, but would not have acted on it with Shannan close at hand. I believe NK was fully aware that Chris was married, had two children and another one the way, which could have been the straw that broke the camel's back. Maybe it became a game to NK to see if she could take Chris away from his wife and children. Some women are competitive that way.

He knew he wasn’t ‘normal’ and prided himself as passing as, hence his worry about how people would view him during his police interview and texts with Shannan’s friend. He seriously thought he’d be able to maintain the facade not realizing how bizarre the belief not to mention impossible after he did what he did. He is incapable of feeling remorse for killing Shannan and his children because it would mean he’d have to feel loss. That said he likely feels regret because his actions have landed him in prison for life. His mother is similarly unaware of how her behaviour is viewed by the world, in this family the apple didn’t fall far from the tree. My heart goes out to Shannan’s family and friends, a tragic and absolutely unnecessary ending due to her relationship with two or more psychopathic individuals. (Jury’s out for me in regards to NK).

NK knew he had a wife and family, but the ultimate responsibility falls on Chris for not being a MAN and truly taking care of the family he had already before getting involved with and making plans for a life with another woman! She and he both wanted to try for a baby boy, but then after she was already 4 mos pregnant he tells her he's not sure he wants another baby!! Too late buddy. So, sex with Nicole was the catalyst for Chris to be able to shut down or pull back his feelings for Shannan. He kept denying to his wife that there was someone else. Therefore, Shannan who was 3-4 mos pregnant during this ordeal and as we've been made aware, struggled with self-esteem issues, was left guessing as to why Chris suddenly was cold toward her physically and most likely mentally as well. What could he say but the truth and he was too much of a coward to do that. The moral of this story: MEN: Be a man; live up to the responsibilities of those you love and have loved--YOUR children & their mothers. It takes TWO to create those kids and to help raise them--emotionally & financially! Leave before you take up with someone else. Better yet, stay. Know that what you have is worth the struggle to keep together. Remember why you fell in love and had kids with your wife in the first place. Do and say nice things for her. Sit together, talk and listen...keep your dreams for the future alive together and plan to grow old together. WOMEN: DON'T MESS with a MARRIED MAN! 9 times out of 10 YOU won't get him. If you do, would you trust him? He CHEATED on his wife WITH YOU! That means the bonds of marriage don't mean a damn thing to him. deken I was married TWICE to men who turned out to be liars & cheaters; the first one put me in the hospital several times. I had been abused and extremely isolated as a child and teen, had extremely low self-esteem, and spent many years blaming myself for everything that happened during those marriages. I never took time to learn to love myself, to find out who I was and what I needed and wanted. After I took about 10 years, in counseling, 2 years living and working at an ashram-I met someone completely unexpectedly, and we fell deeply in Love. It was my first “normal” relationship in my life and I was already into my 40’s. My kids adored him and he had wanted to get married after about 8 months-I convinced him we needed more time. 2 years into this wonderful relationship, we became engaged. We were to be married in Jan (this was 10 years ago now), a month after his graduation from law school. We had a handyman business to bring in some extra money when he had breaks from school. On his way home Nov 5, late at night, after a particularly hard week of both work and school; he ran over glass in the road he hadn’t seen, blew out 2 tires and passed away shortly after the accident. I was devastated. Several months later, I was diagnosed with cancer and was told to “go home and get your affairs in order”. I attempted suicide..obviously, thousands of milligrams of opiates didn’t kill me and I ended up finding new purpose. I DID take a vow of celibacy though-I feel with the marriages, then Chris, God was trying to tell me something. I haven’t regretted that decision in 10 years. I needed this extra time and considering my ongoing health problems, don’t think it’s fair to bring anyone into my life at this point. My concern has been with my now grown children, who went through hell with their father who kidnapped them and took them overseas. My eldest and youngest are doing OK-they‘ve certainly had problems over the years, but are doing well now. My middle daughter, I’m concerned about, although even just a year ago, I would have said was the most stable. I thought she was happily married and she had followed in my footsteps as far as her medical career. Then, about 8 months ago, I found out her husband wasn’t much different than her father-physically and emotionally abusive and problems with drugs & alcohol. I thought she was brave to get the divorce much sooner than I had with her father, (i had put up with it for 7 years). Then, when she called me from a faraway state a few months later? She’s in love again. While I was thrilled she’d followed in my footsteps career-wise; I didn’t see her following me relationship-wise. And just like me, she won’t listen to anyone about the need to take care of HERSELF. The biggest thing I tried to give my kids was the importance of learning to love themselves before they could love someone else. Since they returned to the States in their teens, we’ve worked on our relationships and I did all I thought I could to convince them what incredible kids they are and they deserve only the best. When my daughter told me about her new beau-my heart sank. It’s literally history repeating itself. Let’s just say he’s been married several times himself, isn’t “quite” divorced yet, and she will be the main earner if they stay together. She’s actually with him now, and this is the first Christmas I not only didn’t get a visit, she never even called. Her siblings are concerned about her, friends who have known us for years are freaking out...but her father’s family say they are thrilled for her. Her father, my 1st husband, died 5 years ago overseas from a drug & alcohol overdose. (He never came back to face his charges..,with his families help). I’m at a loss of what to do or say, especially knowing my concern has obviously already driven her away. My main advice? 1. NEVER, EVER Mess with married men! Once a cheater; almost always a cheater. In the very least-it will always be in the back of your mind. 2. Ladies, PLEASE, Learn to love YOURSELVES before bringing a partner into the picture. Get counseling if needed. Learn how to meditate. I was told by a wise old yogi that, no matter what your faith-“praying is talking to God; meditation is listening to him/her.” Meditation is also getting to know your deepest SELF. UNTIL you really know your SELF; you’ll never REALLY know anyone else. /hops off soapbox (sorry!)

It’s been 2 years and until now the sheer stupidity of Mr. Watts still baffles me. So he thought he can annihilate his family and get away with it and have a happy ending with his mistress is totally mind boggling. This is not an act of a normal person. God knows what evil forces drove this man to do such thing.

First off, she did say she didn't want to play 2nd fiddle. She also said he already has kids so it wouldn't be new if we ended up having kids, and also, someone made a good point about who called the school to ask about kids when no one knew they were missing except Chris? There were 2 calls by females saying they were shannans mom in the am, and another call from her mom at around 4pm. So who did that?

I found this interesting as well. Police haven't said anything about these calls. Did SW's mother in fact make them. If so, why? What would have raised her suspicion that something was wrong. SW was supposed to take the kids to school. Had her daughter said something to her that made her concerned enough to call the school...three times...when it really wasn't her place to do so? Or was it, as some have suspicioned, a female merely claiming to be the mom? If so, what was the point of the calls? Who would they benefit and how would they benefit them? Peace.

Kessenger wanted Shanann's life, it's obvious. She performed an internet search for her name in Sep of 2017. Wouldn't be surprised if the whole thing was her idea.

I just discovered your channel and I’m so happy I did! Your analysis was objective and you touched all the points especially one that I’ve thought of privately: the Sex! I do believe Chris lost his mind over it and from the interrogation videos of Nicole Kessinger she mentioned that she always encouraged him to spend time with his children and would not want to be a “presence in his life” when he should be spending time with his daughters. I think has a mathematical mind and he saw his family as problem that he needed to solve in the most abhorrent manner in order to be with Nicole. It was shocking to discover through the interrogation of Chris Watts the fact that the female officer was the one who suggested perhaps that Shanann was the one who hurt the girls and If he was covering for her and did he hurt Shanann as a result. My jaw was on the floor! And Chris took the bait! He thought he was being handed a lifeline and perhaps could get away with serving a few years in prison for killing his wife in a crime of passion and disposing of their bodies but I’m convinced he murdered them all. It’s such a devastating tragedy. But again, thank you for talking about it. I’m subscribing and looking forward to more.
