Thanks, I followed this today, very helpful. One change was I screwed in a bicycle brake bleeder cup when I refilled so that all the bubbles could be quickly squirted up and out vs 'an eternity later' 😂 Then it was just the last bit of sweep at the top to do.

Can I use a Lucas oil heavy duty oil stabilizer for car? Would that work for a Scott steering stabilizer?

I don't think so, the stabilizer oil is way more fluid than Lucas oil

www.scottsonline.com/Stabilizer_Parts.php this is for the parts, www.scottsonline.com/groupproducts.php?Groups=187 This is for the fluid, Just like your forks and shocks though, you'll need to give it some "TLC" after many hours of usage. It is designed so there are no wearable parts when mounted properly, (just oil fatigue). Scotts Performance Products provides a complete service program should you need it, so when you do your forks do the stabilizer as well.

Ok I checked it out and the instructions that come with the oil says it is 3w also says compatibile oils very light 2.5w to 3w, hope this helps. 👍

HI Albe, In practice, what is the function of the steering damper???

Pretty much it dampens the unwanted inputs from the front wheel, for example, if you are on a rocky trail and your front wheel hits a rock that would kick it sideways, the damper helps you keep the wheel straight, or on a sandy trail, it helps you to ride straight

Ciao Savio, adesso mi organizzo e vedo come posso fare a farci un video intero, il precarico sullo scrambler è molto semplice, più pesi più muovi il precarico sulle tacche più alte e viceversa. È molto basilare non ci sono calcoli da fare altro che aggiustarlo, provare e se non va bene provare un'altra tacca.
