Without question, they are the most beautiful animals on earth. I hope you will be able to fulfill your dream and own a horse some day. All the work and cost is worth it! I recently lost my beautiful old black stallion. He was 35 years old.The moment I first saw him I was stunned by his magnificent beauty. He was the stud horse at a Tennessee Walking Horse farm here in the Seattle area. Pure black! Nobody in their right mind buys a stallion but he and I were together happily for 29 years!

They're all gorgeous! Can't help but love Arabian horses! I ride one and I can tell you they're amazing to work with. The one ride doesn't look anything like these horses, though, especially since she's 19 and has had 5 foals. Even still, she has her Arabian spirit and personality!

8:47 - horsefight! I thought, "this looks familiar", then I spot my sis & I with my camera directly across the arena. This rarely happens at the show, they're usually well-behaved gentlemen, so it stood out in my memory. Nice how you captured the whole show, good vibes & all!

The Arab is a very sensitive animal and very loyal- you need to be patient and kind w/ it as you would with any horse as they will never forget cruel treatment. You will love the loyalty and gentleness of this animal if you treat it with respect. I love all of our Arabs!

Funny comments i can read here. I live in finland and my mare lives in a unheated open barn where she can move in and out of the stable as she wish. She deals with temperatures up to -37 degrees during the night and is fine with this. She also deals with all sorts of grounds, muddy, dry, hard soil, sand and since we have trees on the paddock she walks carefully and has secure steps because she watches out for the roots! The horse you are obviously talking about is shaved naked and left 24h in a box...

In Arabia, Arabian horses are more known and recognised for their 1- attitude and behaviour, 2- endurance and stamina, and 3- beauty

Abadi AlAbadi I think they're the best breed you can get once you understand them, too many people seem to be so used to boring, dull, insensitive horses. They just don't understand the Arab temperament. They are a true partner who are so very intelligent and are an equal rather than a slave!

It's where you keep a horse at another place but you still own him/her. They will feed them at take care of him. You have to pay though. You can go over to that place and ride any time! It's really fun.

@mondyI just watched this whole video and saw no cruelty what so ever. Horses of this caliber are better treated than most people's children. Very well fed, trained, medical care always up to date, and just plain old loved and spoiled. I think somebody is just jeolous.

Thres a video about horses in youtube that I find particulary amazing. If you wanna take a look search for "Bull fighting on horses - Very nice". Most people are against bullfighting etc.but this is not the point, if you watch it try to appreciate the beauty of the riding... well, I think its impossible not to appreciate it.

Amen to that. they helped the arab conquer spain and at that moment the european vizigots and most europeans did not know anything about using horses in war...the arabians did start cross breeding shortly after that with the north african barb to have the andalusian as a result...but the pure arabian is the best...there is plenty of very old arabic poetry that describe the moments of glory.

Sometimes people that own stables will let you work there part time and let you ride some of their horses. Mostly getting someone to teach you to ride, horse safety, and the necessary up keep for keeping a horse healthy, would be a very good way to start. This way you can try riding and doing what it takes to own a horse without putting out your money first. Some people would love to own a horse but are not willing to do what it takes to keep a horse. Try this first, then you will know for sure

I lease a 13 year old arab pony and he is a pain to look beautiful but when he sets his mind to it he can be a Dressage pro. We do eventing and he is not the greatest jumper ever but he gets over what I point him to even if its a 4 foot jump. He is so reliable and stubborn. Arabs are great horses to be on and if they have the right breading and care can be a gorgeous show horse.

When I have a horse that spooks, I don't use the bit at all, I am a good enough rider to just let them run until they tire. All of my horses are trained to jump with soft cushioned custom made bars and poles so that when their legs strike a pole or bar they don't whack their legs hard into a hard surface. They will all liberty jump also and I don't show them. I just want to let them enjoy life with as much love and freedom as what I can give them.

For everyone who is saying that there not pretty, don't say anything your opinion is not wanted here, and to those who think the headsets are bad, they have one less vertebrae in their neck that allows it to be more flexible and unless you go to these shows or show Arabians you have no right to say anything
@melodyfalcone636112 жыл бұрын
In all my years of owning Arabians and extolling their qualities, I don't believe I have ever been reduced to such crass language to describe such a beautiful animal. With broadness of the English language, why limit oneself to vulgarity when trying to express pride?

here is surah about horse in qur'an.''By the snorting coursers,striking sparks of fire, by those which sour to raid at dawn, blazing a trail of dust, cleaving into the center of the enemy: man is surely un-grateful to his Lord,and of this he him self is a witness; and truly, he is passionate in his love for wordly riches. But he is un-aware that when the contents of the graves are scattered about, and what is in the breasts is brought out,surely their Lord will on that know all about them.''

Beautifull horses. If you want to buy arabian- it cost from 1000 $ to 1000000,00$, it depends ((-; see auctions in Janow Podlaski ( Poland). They cost exactly like every others kind of horses. They are for shows, and long distance ride. And make us happy when we waching them ((-: About shining- arabian are shaved before the shows and after is easier to clean the horse so good , he is shining. Sometimes they stay in stable in rugs with neck and head.

You're talking about "Bob Jones" down below, I believe. I mention that because KZbin has decided to selectively stop announcing which comments are being replied to, and also is not notifying that person a reply was made to them. Notice that your reply to him about his vulgarity is not "addressed" to him, even though I know you clicked "reply" under his comment.

It goes anywhere from $900 to $5000! I have excellent show horses and they all where around $ 1000 to $3000. So, not too much. My family is also middle class sorta.
@edwinahaskell12 жыл бұрын
To be fair some Tekes are typier than others just like any other breed. Seems that the ones bred in or near Russia have that extreme neck/body length. The ones here in the U.S. don't seem to be as radical. As far as color, look up a stallion named Habib Shael. Stunning, otherworldly color with dapples.

@CHEVYedsf13 жыл бұрын
@baleadoantrax Depends on what breeder you want it from, they're a baby or already trained, if they've won in the show ring... any where from $1000 to about $300000, I would guess.

@jett88813 жыл бұрын
@baleadoantrax you can get a horse for free- or as inexpensive as $500- the initial cost of a horse will be one of your cheapest (inexpensive) occurrences- it's more the up keep and maintenance of the horse where you will find the cost that adds up. But they give such joy and can add much quality to your life (just stop going out for fast food, starbucks, dinners etc, and you can make up the expenses! lol).
@edwinahaskell12 жыл бұрын
They're a lot of fun, but they're also a lot of work and expense. Not just feed, but farrier, vet care, tack, stabling... The list goes on and on. I think it's all worth it, but horses aren't for lazy people.

The Arabian horse specializes in endurance racing 50 miles/80km- and up) - so making it a "bigger horse" would not help it- as cooling itself would become even more difficult. Remember- size doesn't always matter! ha ha :~}
