I always wanted to live in Arizona since little, I don’t know why. It’s simply beautiful the problem would be the heat. I love California but everything is going up. I’m talking about taxes cost of living. Thank you for showing us around Scottsdale.

I'm with you as CA native even with high paying careers, we pay ALOT in taxes! I'm still young but maybe towards retirement o e day. Thing is inflation and when you have everyone flocking to here to move prices goes up, there's really no escaping
@lunamoona1505 Жыл бұрын
The heat is totally survivable - you just need AC, access to a pool, and lots of SPF/hats/sunglasses 😊 And it only gets really hot for about 2-3 months of the year. Just moved here from the NE and I love it

Lived here since 1974 and from October to April it is sublime. Scottsdale has exploded with scores of wonderful dining options. Unfortunately it is being transformed into a metropolis of high density living buildings as the population explodes. From Indian School to MacDowell central corridor it is one project after another.

A humans body temp is 98.6 ...for so many years we were told 60s & 70s degrees were perfect and 80s & 90s were too hot. Well the reason why Arizona's population has exploded to now Phoenix is the 5th largest city in the USA. A good reason for that is people have visited and found out 90s & 100s is VERY doable when your own body temp is 98.6 or..100 degrees. And that 100 plus degrees is only for 3 months. The other 9 months are close to heaven. Those 3 months are considered the toughest to everyone else but to people who live here. For us those 3 months are......pool parties...tubbing down the river, diving off the side of a mountain, boating, paragliding, etc. The Valley has some of the nicest lakes in the country ( Google it ) Roosevelt Lake alone is the longest lake in the country at 28 miles. And when you consider summertime is Arizona's wintertime ( Inclement weather ).what would you rather be doing for your winter....sitting poolside with a beverage when the sun goes down or freezing your tail off looking at snow when the sun goes down. My only regret is not moving here sooner !

Ive lived in western nc (Dragon 🐉 local) , n grandparents n me r thinking about AZ for the weather, new driving travel options, n the big one is we looking for great doctors. Also thinking about very southern Oregon but i dont see any great options. Ive got to do one of a few things, saltwater spear fishing, sportbike riding in the twisties n tracks, well thats it, one of those two things lol but Dr. comes first yea. Where should we go for ppl in their 80s to have lot of things to do and friendly is a must, and we are not millionaires lol so, but i like Chandler or A nice zone in the phenix area. Friends live in Tulsa Arizona but to hot n dangerous for me, they will come visit frequently.
