So subtle and so beautiful. It's a great example of 'less is more' in painting. Your suggestion to try different skyscapes on A5 paper is something I'll start doing more of. I've done a couple, but need more practice and I'll try more variety of colour combos or even monochrome too.

Wow, so good - is the Rives paper rough? How did you achieve the granulation? Thank you - I'll try it.

Thanks Iwona! Rives is not rough. It is not even as rough as arches cold pressed watercolour paper. But it does have some undulations in the surface and the granulation occurs because I use so much water and the paper does have some texture. 👍👍

How is it that when you paint this quickly your yellow and blue do not go green?!

It's because I kept them totally separate and then bought in the stronger colours over the top without too much mixing.
