This is one of the best video on this system I have seen. Great job here! Using the stealth pro since new, Love them. The 1st gens were nice but 2nd gens (pros) are the best. Best practices: Line of sight/ getting antennas up high, scan for best freqs close to the start of your event. I use larger antennas. Used in/for corporate, weddings and airshows. Thanks

I'm a DJ and sound guy for about 40 years here out here doing about a 150 events a year all over. Colorado is perfect for what we do as you know. I own this system and pretty everything you talk about on your channel and have been with Sweetwater for many many years. Hey check out the new Alpha Wave 8 speakers as they are a game changer for wedding ceremonies. Would really love you to add the MK II Stealth to a review Scott, now that Alto have discontinued the Pro version, at least in Oz they have! I am still having no end of trouble getting a clean channel, and Alto only refer to their existing FAQ and help stuff all of which I have already completed. It's a $850+ plus system down here, and so far it has only made it out of the box...too glitchy to use on stage!

Love your videos, my new favorite channel. I have one question about this system. Being a digital system, why doesn't it have a full range frequency response ? I was really interested in this, but this is robbing lots of low frequency from the bass. Doesn't seem like a viable solution to transmit signal to my sub. Good for the top speakers tho'.

Was it the newest model? Not the older model. And did you try adjusting the squelch in really tough environments? Not all wireless is perfect, but this one should have the tools to get the job done in 99.9% of situations. But it’s definitely possible that EVERY frequency was taken in that really busy area.

I looked at this product a while ago but settled on a much better product - The MIPRO MI-58. It's essentially an IEM unit. It's 5ghz, digital, 20-20,000hz and is rock solid. No quality loss whatsoever and with all that considered - it's less than 1.8ms latency. I cannot find any other product that does what it does. A true cable replacement.
@ScottUhlMusic
@ScottUhlMusic 8 ай бұрын
It’s definitely not going to replace this, which is true diversity, way more channel options, scanning and squelch control. Use what works best for sure! But that cheaper product isn’t the same as this professional one 👍

@@ScottUhlMusic The MIPRO MI-58 definitely is true diversity and has more channels (60 channels with 64 IDs per channel = 3840). Can I ask a dumb question? How do you connect the body pack receiver to your speakers to use it like this for the mipro system?
@KevMusician
@KevMusician 4 ай бұрын
@@TheCompoundctc The receiver is powered by a 3.7V Lithium battery. To save me from recharging it all the time, I take power from the speaker and run a small AC-DC 3.7V Power Supply. I used a piece of plastic dowelling to mimic a battery and connect the +/- to the battery terminals. The bodypack receiver powers up every time I power the speaker up :) For the audio, it's 3.5mm to XLR. Cable is wired L/R respectively. All this is housed in a neat little black box and mounted to the back of the speaker. Works flawlessly. Zero latency. Full 20hz-20khz. Indistinguishable to a cable.
