I've had mine for almost 2 weeks now, and I absolutely love it! I got the phantom 11 long design, and it made a big difference for me! Putts are rolling better for me than they ever have!

I have the squad back version, I use it like an arm lock. I absolutely love it.really helps me keep the angle and the design keeps the head steady. I always had a shaky downswing.

Thanks for the review! Good to know. I’m about to order the Phantom and this answered a lot of my questions.

Hoping to get the Phantom 11 as a newbie wanting something I can buy once, customise well into the future (weight/weighted grip replacement ect) and more. Thanks for the in depth words and recommendations. Appreciate the straightforward information!

For us very tall golfers. At 6’6” the 38” works great

I'm just under 6' 4" and agree, having longer putter options is great. - DD

David thanks for this video. You should follow up this video with the reverse taper Golf Pride grip, since it does the same thing, relaxing the muscle in the hands when you putt Not sure if you did a reverse taper video yet and if so, me bad. Have a good one.

Picked up the Squareback model last week. I’ve been enjoying armlock, super happy that Scotty Cameron has a model that comes set for arm/wrist lock.
@MunkMyJunk5 ай бұрын
You are using it incorrectly. The lie and especially loft on these putters are not set to be an armlock, youd be delofting it too much. These putters are strictly counterbalanced

I Tried the Squareback LD yesterday on the putting green..................and it is SUPER heavy, lost all feel on shorter putts for sure. Would take ages to get used to it and I'm not sure it would be worth it

This has to be for me with my bad back I can only practice putting for like 5 minutes before my back starts to hurt
@DavidDusek5 ай бұрын
Maybe, but ideally you would hold these putters in the same way you would hold a traditional-length putter while allowing the extra length in the grip to go above your hands. You don't stand more upright using these putters. - DD

I recently bought a lab putter and it is already rolling better than both my scotty putters I have had over the past 20 years. If lab putters keep gaining speed or they market them right, they will take over the putting world. Try one and I guarantee you will putt better.

I tried a lab putter, what I didn't like is the lack of feedback. I had no idea where on the face I was hitting and on long putts had distance control issues. Short putts felt good though

I tried a lab, thought it felt cheap, I’d not like it at all.
@zombierecon73512 ай бұрын
Tried a lab and thought it was very difficult to get any consistency out of it. Definitely a two way miss. Very susceptible to twisting…..hold it in your hand and see how easy it is to spin. That’s what happens when you hit it off center.

Bought two of them. Absolutely hated the LAB’s. Couldn’t get it lined up. To each their own

Hey David Would cutting down to a 36 effect this putter
@DavidDusek3 ай бұрын
I would not recommend doing that. Would the effect still be there? Yes, but extended-length putters are designed to be held like a regular putter so a portion is above your hands. Cutting the putter down reduces the effect. If you are someone is 5-foot-2 or shorter, I could see going with a shorter extended-length putter because it could be extremely unwieldy or awkward to use, but aside from that, I would not cut one down. - DD

what is the head weight of the phantom x11 long putter?
@DavidDusek5 ай бұрын
In the standard length Phantom 11 it’s 370g in the 33", 360g in the 34" and 350g in the 35", but the Long version has 25-gram weights instead of 10-gram in the traditional lengths.

wondering if I got a 40" I could Armlock this putter?
@DavidDusek5 ай бұрын
You could, possibly, but you might need or want a flat-sided grip to make that technique more comfortable. - DD

At 38”, and if I don’t stand more upright, if I use a traditional stance and stroke, wouldn’t this be pushing up in my belly?
@DavidDusek5 ай бұрын
No, probably not. Plus, Titleist is selling them at other extended lengths like 37”, 38.5”, etc. through custom order, so you should be able to get one with the ideal fit. - DD

not for me, they keep screwing left handed golfers out of options like this.
