for the mac mini, don't have a button, use a horizontal slide that pushes underneath a lever, and the lever pops the iPad up. 2 components and slim form factor (don't even need a hinge in the design, just limit the lever's travel in its designated slot)

One of the best tech-creative vids I've seen on KZbin. There's so much going on it there. Complementing any part risks neglecting the rest that took much time & effort to make perfect. The composition is layered in multiple directions/contexts. Just the vid itself is a multifaceted artwork, before even considering the things that take place in it.

Second video I've watched from you now I'm in LOVE with your style. It's perfect, straight to the point, no bullshit and everything only enhances the experience The attention to detail in your designs are S tier, and it's the kind of quality I would expect seeing from world-known companies with expensive products. The ejection button and gently lowering of the iPad, headphone holder that pops out, exchangable drawer designs... All of this done by ONE guy. The color variations shot sold it. You LITERALLY have the design mindset of apple. Robust, clean and it just f*cking works. Let me repeat. Apple design quality done by _one_ dude.
