Thank you for taking your time to build these valuable tutorials. Also the ones you have done for Combat Mission :)

Really helpful. I like the way you explain each commmand and show where it is on the toolbar. Some other video commentators do this so quickly it is impossible to see what they are doing. I look forward to your next tutorial

How do you get that menu that's at 5:23 in the top right?

Been re going over all these again with some recent play. All very good, although the used UI isn't default or many won't have - I did add some mods but they rather large and not great either, but still won as Wellington recently. I hear they withdrawn game from steam now but a re-master of this is coming (don't no when it is late Aug 23 now) so maybe in late 23 or 24 but they not changing game engine or much graphics but some UI, remastering stuff perhaps within whatever same game engine allows - and no campaign or opther battle stuff it seems? I would have loved a modern version of this with expansions to all the Pennisular wars and Napoloen campaigns from 1800 to 1815 would be so good, a great game that could have been a world beater if it had got more love and investment, with new engine, grpahics, a proper multi campaigns with many dlc battles/maps. Maybe one day -still a good game if already have but one of those where you just wish they had added or changes "this and that". Happy battles to those that still play.

Something caught my eye when u clicked on the 79th regt, it had 1st/79th regt indicating its the 1st battalion of the 79th regt so its actually a regiment (of 4 battalions that you're commanding) but back then, not sure if i read or heard that a regiment was just a single battalion that was always the operational one, with the 2nd battalion based back at home and used for replacements from losses....i may be wrong but just wondered.

He really shouldn't have called it a regiment, the units here are actually battalions - from four different regiments. You are correct in your assumption that a regiment would often have a battalion (or battalions) in the field with a battalion based (in this case) in England to provide replacements.
