I like how Growlithe evolved to Arcanine mid-game =D

Thanks for this video. Getting reviews from reviewers who have actually played a wide breadth of trick-taking and shedding/ladder-climbing games is really meaningful. I just picked this up and am psyched to play it. I think there is still a ton of things that haven’t been done in this specific genre of card games….subscribed.

Oh woah, thanks so sooo much, Troy! That means a great deal and I hope you love Scout! It really is something special and I'm so glad it's getting a bunch of recognition with the spiel des jahres and all. Cheers and thanks again for the kind words! 😁🙌

Great review, Taylor! I just played this for the first time at WSBG Vegas and I was super impressed with how clever and fun this little game was! I’d love to get a copy but it seems like it’s hard to find right now! (Love that the Lo-Fi girl is playing Scout with you!) 🎶

Ahhh amazing, Dave!! I feel like Japan has just the best card games recently! Hope you find a copy and I'd love to play at Pax U!! Great chatting at Vegas! And the lo fi girl sighting!! Haha just like Lucas the Spider ha!

@@ClaudeAndTaylor Yeah? I'm hoping to make the trip to Japan this summer so you'll have to let me know of games I should pick up for myself and any you'd like me to get for you while I'm there! (I just ordered a copy, believe it or not! Let's definitely play at PAX!) 🎪 And yes! Look at us with our keen eyes! We don't miss a thing!

Thanks for the video Taylor, Scout seems quite witty but simple, will have to check it out. The .5 second of the Fire Stone made me giggle 😂

Cheers, Emma!! 😁🙌 I love when editing saves a mistake😅 And, this may be super strange, but do you have an album called 'Water in a Wine Glass'? Your name rang a bell as a mate of mine had you on a list of music that I've been making my way through. Just an AMAZING album!!! Unless that is not you, haa! In that case, sorry! I bet you're still amazing as well😁🙌

Thank you for the review & recommendation. To note, the link in the description box to the English Forwarding site didn't work for me; I got a 404 error. Thanks.

Love your reviews! Any preference on this version vs the Oink version?
@ClaudeAndTaylor2 жыл бұрын
Hey thanks so much, Jeff!! 😁🙌 I actually have a bit of a strong personal preference for this design, mostly subjective. I like this art style and box size more. I enjoy the themeless nature also as I find the circus theme and the names of the performers on the Oink's version's cards to be a bit distracting. But you can't go wrong with either version!

I just found this video through a Jon gets games vlog. Love the Channel! I'm curious, have you ever played Tournament at Avalon/Camelot? I'd be very interested in your thoughts.
@ClaudeAndTaylor3 жыл бұрын
Hey Ted, thanks so much for the kind words!!!🤩🙌 Jon is the best! I have played each one or two times, but I was hoping to get more plays under my belt before a video as there's just SO much to see and explore in those games. But so far, I'm really enjoying them! I grew up on Hearts and classic avoidance trick-taking, so those 2 games give me similar feelings, but with an even crazier and layered gameplay. How do you find them so far? Thanks for watching and the super nice comment!! Cheers, Taylor!!🤗

@@ClaudeAndTaylor I haven't tried it yet but I got a copy of Avalon so we'll see. The cosmic encounter type chaos looks like it could be really fun and yes exactly, I'm big fan of hearts and spades too. Looking forward to your review!
