Spray BANG on all your baits and lures scents make a big difference especially in muddy and stained water ✅️✅️ You probably miss alot of fish for the crappie are on the banks in shallow water, get a long rod and dip the cover and structure

great vid man. what was your rod reel setup?

Nice vid! Thanks for showing us that it's tough for all of us to find fish every day! At least you got out on a creek and caught a really nice one!

Yes, sir, I almost had a skunk day. And that one big one gave me hope!!

You and me, both, I’m lucky I didn’t step on that second one. That could’ve made for a bad day.

Thanks Terry for showing us the reality of fishing (e.g. not just the great days). 😊

We all need to do that a little more, stop trying to look like heroes. Plenty of that on Facebook. Just don’t want to make the videos boring

A place that over grown & snakes around are the best places…Big Bass,Crappie and Brim…just keep ur eye 👀 open…and if u can bring a buddy along
@BarFlyFishingTexas11 ай бұрын
Yes sir, that’s why I’m always trying to go out in the crazy places. I prefer just to bring the kayak up. Then I don’t have to worry about the critters. And I can still get into the same water.
@PRINCE_17511 ай бұрын
@@BarFlyFishingTexas I don’t agree about being on the kayak being safe….i was on mine this pass summer at a reservoir and thought I hooked a big bass and was reeling it in, and as I was about to yank it up and grab it,it was a 5’ water moccasin…I have two witnesses to this

Have you thought about getting one of the castable fish finders I got a deeper pro plus and it’s nice especially for scouting new spots and it works with your cell phone I use it with a cheap catfish pole and some braid and a steel leader and it works great you can also pull it on a kayak. Something to think about

If you aint having a bad fishing day then you aint fishing.

This is true, but I definitely try to minimize the bad days with education and experience, and a little bit of guessing

Hundreds sometimes it’s nothing to drive 100 miles in one day or more on a regular basis

Cool adventure dude, just be careful youre not trespassing out there. East Texans not real friendly when it comes to that.. lol

I’m usually really conscious about being on private property. I look for fences and signs. Any evidence that I shouldn’t be there. There was none of that. So I think I’m OK. I also called a couple locals that fish the area that I know. They said it was OK to be there as well.

Nah its not the limbs lol its just where you fish every where you go is loaded. Sam rayburn and other lakes like that have a ton of fish in the creeks since they hardly ever dry up like the lakes where i live

I’m not complaining that the trees stopped me from catching fish… I can’t tell how deep the creek is, so I can’t tell if I’m fishing it correctly on the first try. I’ll have to go back and spend some more time there.
