Swamp N Stomp is a channel or vlog, whatever you want to call it, dedicated to helping the hunting community grow, specifically in Florida. Studies show that the majority of modern hunters had family members who raised them as hunters, and a large portion of non-hunters want to hunt but don't know where to start. By documenting our hunting adventures, making instructional or tutorial videos, and really anything-hunting-related videos, we hope to help bridge that gap by providing practical information for beginner and experienced hunters on how to become a better and more ethical hunter. Click that subscribe button and join us for the ride! Thanks for watching!

The information presented in these videos are based on personal preference, should you choose to adopt methods presented in these videos, the responsibility for that decision falls on you. Furthermore, it is important to stay up to date with rules and regulations that apply to you and the land you hunt on. Be safe, stay diligent, and good luck in the woods!

The deer in that area rub a lot, more than anywhere else I've been; its nice but not as important as finding it in other areas since access is so easy and the rubs are spread out. Good luck...

I scouted this WMA two weekends ago for the first time and hoping to get back a couple more times before season. I'll be starting down south as well so we might bump into each other. Good luck!

#1 it's a pinch point and you can see more.
@SwampNStomp
@SwampNStomp 3 жыл бұрын
If I hunt it I think I’ll sit #2. It can shoot both pinch points and the scrape is at 40 yds which is about where I draw the line. But if I have to take a shot That far I’d rather the deer be distracted by a scrape. #1 can’t shoot to the scrape and the other pinch point is too far as well, a deer could sneak around the back of that island and never give 1 a shot. 3 can shoot the scrape at 35 yds, but if the deer walk the outside they would be out of range. So # gets the beat of both worlds

@@walmark45 haha I don’t know about that. Any of of these 3 trees wouldn’t be a bad option. I just think tree 2 maximizes the chances of having a deer in range. Being near fresh sign, regardless of the tree is far more Important!

Hi there, I have a question. Again lol at about 8:45 into the video I saw your boots. what brand are those? and are they snake bite proof? If not do you use anything to protect against snake bite?
@SwampNStomp

I had a set of Irish setters rubber boots before they were the most comfortable boots to walk in never hurt my feet could walk miles in them but they did t not last at all think they lasted me lke a season and a half amd they do not work well in cold weather had 2 pairs of wool socks on and my feet were bout frozen the best boots i ever had are much boots steep toe there not really comfortable to walk in but the have lasted me 6 years or so and I have hunted fished and frog gigged all them seasons but there on there last leg now time for new set

LMFAO. You look like you were trying to make a cheesy Sasquatch video. The last tree you were showing IMO will skylight you too much. You need something with at least a little backdrop. Also, don’t sit in a cabbage Palm. Most of the time they are full of chiggers. You damn sure don’t want those. Good luck guys. Keep us posted.

Sky lighting isn’t of concern to me as long as I’m really high up. We often hunt with no cover and as long as you are a solid 25-30ft up it’s all good. We have a few cams out there, will probably let them soak till a week before the opener. Then see what’s what. If you see us, come say hi! -Mark

In Florida a Legal Deer is Three Points or more on One side provided all points are more than One Inch in Length . A Four point is not Legal unless Three of them point are on One side . Enjoy your content looked a little like Green Swamp
@SwampNStomp
@SwampNStomp 3 жыл бұрын
That is incorrect. In most WMAs, the rule is 3 points on one side OR a minimum of a 10” main beam. So a tall Fork or even a tall spike is legal to take. Just needs to be a least 10”. A good rule of thumb is double the length of the ear is usually a safe bet. Thanks for watching! -Mark

@ordonezo1 3 жыл бұрын
Incorrect, SFL is 2 points on one side, some wma like Picayune no longer have the 10 main beam minimum
