Nice unboxing, I hope to add this module soon. I would note that the module is not only the British order or battle, but also could be used for Commonwealth nations. At least two of the scenarios I could see in the video are German vs. Canadian.

German and Russian Chapter H in the Rulebook isn't an MMP thing. It's been like that since 1985 when ASL first came out. I guess because the Rulebook and Beyond Valor was all that was initially available, and (apart from the mini-module Paratrooper) Yanks was the first full-on expansion. Logically, each expansion to the core set needed its own Chapter H. I kind of miss the inside covers to the original Rulebook as well, with its handy reference table. But hey, ASL has come a huge way since 1985.

Thanks for the video. I have the latest reprint of this and I really like it. I already have WoA, but this added enough new stuff to make it worth the purchase for me. I'm ridiculously excited about getting the Rising Sun reprint! The content in that one looks absolutely beastly.

Interesting. My West of Alamein counters are perfectly fine. I have FK&C too, but haven't opened it.

@@ASLAcademy I'm reminded of the wild shades of blue for the Germans in my old Cross of Iron module. Irritates the hell out of me!

Great memories! And the elephant sized Bren Carriers from Crescendo of Doom! PS - just sorting and tidying up an old 1st Edition Yanks counter-set I had lying around and, yes, some of the 5/8" counters are horribly off-centre, and the quality of the card is no way up to today's standard. On the other hand, the 1/2" stuff is bang on, and the competition when this was produced was Panzer-Leader. Single sided counters, and very simple graphics. Guys, in the mid-1980s, this was ground-breaking stuff.

I think the difference is the back is light tan all the way down, not light blue.

@@ASLAcademy I am just getting back into ASL. Waiting for the Yanks reprint to complete the set of modules I want. Looking forward to your unboxing of that someday...soon!

@@wademoore2061 I think I happened across a BGG thread where some inside guy said the Yanks reprint would be happening this year. Perhaps the success with their other recent reprints has motivated them. Guess we'll see.
