On this week's show, Maggie and Perri take a look at all of the offseason changes that took place around the NFC North. Did the Lions, Vikings, and Bears get better or worse going into 2024?

These are my thoughts as a Lions fan. Not mentioning CB Carlton Davis III is a big mistake. The Lions were 27th against the pass and awful with running QBs. Now they have thumpers for QBs. They are deep at CB to the point Arnold might not start (I doubt it but it is a possibility). The Lions were 2nd at stopping RBs. Add Reader who beats double teams leaving McNeill to be free? They are much better. Glasgow can play left or right guard so... The Bears GM has someone to blame as he puts together a team and makes it impossible for a replacement coach to say no. The Bears have the best defense in the North as of now. The Vikings: JJ might not see the field this year. I don't believe the Vikings will be a threat to the division but a spoiler in the division.

lol I disagree on the JJ McCarthy take. He was a major reach and he is most definitely a project in my opinion! He’s jimmy g with a bit more athleticism, nothing more! I think he will be the worst QB out of the 2024 nfl draft! And Caleb Williams is a bigger version of Kyler Murray! #GoPackGo 💯

Green Bay was thought to be in rebuilding mode after the departure of Aaron Rodgers and a number of other veterans. Well that rebuilding mode turned into a quick retooling once Jordan Love hit his stride the 2nd half of the 2023-24 NFL season. After the Green Bay Packers started out the year 3-6, and he threw 14 touchdowns to 10 interceptions, Jordan Love found his groove and powered Green Bay to a 5-2 mark down the stretch while throwing 18 touchdowns to only 1 interception from weeks 11-18. That was the best touchdown to interception ratio in the NFL among the 27 passers to throw at least 150 passes in that span. The Green Bay Packers then earned the distinction of being the youngest team to win a playoff game since the 1970 AFL/AFL merger (average age of 25 years and 214 days) following their 48-32 demolition of the NFC’s #2 seeded Dallas Cowboys in the Wild-Card game round. They led that game 27-0, and Jordan Love set the Green Bay Packers single game playoff records for passer rating (157.2) and yards per pass attempt (13) after carving up the Cowboys top-5 defense for 272 passing yards and 3 touchdowns while completing 16 of his 21 passes. An impressive turnaround considering essentially all of Jordan Love’s pass-catchers were in their 1st or 2nd season with Christian Watson standing as the old guy of the bunch at age 24. Green Bay nearly toppled the San Francisco 49ers, the #1 seed and eventual NFC champions at Levi’s stadium in a 24-21 loss in a game which they led for most of the night. Since they have bolstered their roster with the signings of 2-time Pro Bowl running back Josh Jacobs (4 years, $48 million) and Pro Football Focus’ best safety in coverage (91.2 coverage grade) in Xavier McKinney (4 years, $67 million). They also filled in key positions of need by firing their former defensive coordinator Joe Barry and hiring a more aggressive, man coverage based Defensive Coordinator in Jeff Hafley on top of drafting well to plug in spots at their offensive line, linebacker, and safety. The Green Bay Packers came away with USC running back Marshawn Lloyd in the 3rd round, a player some viewed as the 2024 NFL Draft’s top running back. Another year of Green Bay’s youth of rounding into form could easily result in an NFC North championship. Go Pack Go 💚💚💛💛

Ima say it There is not a spot in this division that GB is not the best in 😎 cakewalk division Every year we hear how "such and such division is such a powerhouse" then one team runs away with it

i love your point of views.... but i think your abit off Chicago. We all know how football goes... the only ones proven for a entire year are the lions.. so they get a slight edge... but other then that i think anyone of these teams can take the division.. think its all goona come down to injuries

I do not think the Vikings will win the division. The only way it happens is if Sam Darnold or McCarthy ends up being a franchise QB.

Yalls objectivness is commendable, us dudes struggle to show that when it comes to our teams and their rivals, it’s a testosterone thing I think. 🤷🏻♂ I watch a lot of podcasts and there’s a CLEAR difference between males team breakdowns and females, with females being the superior.

If you look at the second half of the season the Bears defense was sold. If you say Love showed improvement in the second half of the season then you have to say the same about the Bears. Look at the stats ladies before you say garbage. The Bears defense is better than the Packers.

Who did they sell the defense to? Did they remember to get Aaron Rodgers' permission?
@raybrean988920 күн бұрын
Same Bears defense that already got 5 TD passes and quarterback ratings of 123.2 and 125.8 on them by Jordan Love. Your rush defense got exposed last season by Aaron Jones and is no better this season. Your defense is still 🗑️🗑️🚮🚮. And Caleb Williams is Justin Fields 2.0 except he’s a smaller version of him. Can’t wait to sweep 🧹 ya’ll again next year making it 12-0 vs Chitcago under Matt Lafluer. LMAO 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

If only we could see those two teams play in week 18 to see if the Bears were better Oh wait

@@Captainkebbles1392 the fact is the Packers scored 17 points in the last game. That was their lowest scoring game in the second half of the season. It's true the Packers were better than the Bears last year but the Bears defense improved during the second half of last year.
