I've always thought that the backrooms would be the perfect place to contain dangerous scps like 173 or 096 since in the normal canon they would have virtually no way of escaping

Putting these SCPs in the backrooms is honestly the best idea ever. There are already extremely dangerous entities there and escape is impossible unless you have an entry point like A-Sync. It would just be extremely unfortunate for the wanderers, but it was gonna be that always.

if they would share a Univers the A-Sync Foundation would be the number one group of interest for the SCP Foundation..... also the SCP-Foundation categorizing the Backrooms as Thaumiel, not knowing how messed up the Backrooms are and using it as one big containment facility is certainly a an SCP Foundation move

I know these two ideas seem like they'd exist in the same room but It would better off having them be seperate. And I know a lot of people who would be frustrated when they see other people calling backrooms entities SCPs. Or the backrooms itself an SCP. Because obviously, they are not.
