I had a spell of nighttime terror when i was about 9. I remember vividly being in a supermarket like this, but the shelves were empty and it would go on forever in every direction. The lights were so bright and the ground and ceiling were curved like a fisheye effect. There wasn't anything really scary about being there, other than the fact I would keep waking up yet still "be there" even awake, with my mum yelling at me for making a scene (i kept crying). I knew I was awake but simultaneously still dreaming. Super weird what half-cooked brains do sometimes.
