SCP-3885 - Exploding Zombie Gearheads (SCP Animation)

SCP 3885 is a Safe Class anomaly also known as Full Throttle Adventures of the Exploding Zombie Gearheads.
SCP-3885 is the small mining town of Vulture Gulch, located in Maricopa County, Arizona, United States of America, which was officially declared abandoned on July 9th, 1973, primarily due to concerns over the amount of radon gas being produced by the uranium deposits present in nearby Vulture Gulch Mine.
SCP-3885 -01 is the collective designation for the current residents of SCP3885.
SCP-3885-01 are humanoid entities confirmed to be genetically human, but with a number of anomalous properties. SCP-3885-01 outwardly resemble humans in a state of significant decomposition and desiccation. Many exhibit signs of bodily trauma, such as missing body parts or significant laceration

Doesn't really fit as an SCP. It's a cool story, would have made for outstanding sequel to Dusk Till Dawn, but it doesn't work as an SCP. There would be no way for The Foundation to know the details they have, and while I like the style of the narrative it doesn't fit well in the genre. That's not how anyone in The Foundation would ever write case file, and I appreciate what they were going for, I feel like they sold themselves short filing it as an SCP when it's so obvious intended as something else. A good horror comedy, maybe some really dope Fallout New Vegas mod. But that's just an opinion of an old man who likes the stuff the community comes up with. P.S Kiss sucks. Take it from an undead, ex biker, we don't listen to KISS. Gene Simmons is a pompous corporate tool.

Personally, I think the gear heads boss might be an interpretation of Mekaine, maybe they started as an ancient sect of the church, but disbanded at some point. After that I think Mekain could have blessed them with eternal life and an uncanny ability to make just about any hunk of scrap with an engine run, some may have left to join other churches, but it seems that a possible side affect of their immortality is that their brains have slowly rotted away, only allowing for basic thoughts, like how sick his rig is, or how badass he may look with a bunch of Roman candles setting off in his prison pocket. And this degeneration may have led to how they are now, the thing is that they may still have a semblance of their former goal, not that they'd know. Perhaps they used to scavenge any material possible in an attempt to build Mekane a new body, but they twisted that into making sick rides for him instead. Also, they likely forgot Mekans name due to their low intelligence, just calling him the boss since he's who they are doing stuff for, or is at least at the top of their leadership.

@@Nikku4211 well, to be honest the gear heads would most definitely modify them selves with how much they get hurt and beat up, and due to their uncanny ability to make weird contraptions work. I just think the info graphics show decided to just make their interpretation mostly based off the word-for-word counts from the story. Plus it's likely not every single gear head is described in the article. And they're literally called gear heads, you can't get more on the nose than that lol
