SCP-3887 is a Euclid Class anomaly also known as the Monster Under the Bed.
Children often run scared into their parents' bedroom terrified of the monster that they saw in their closet, or lurking in the corner, or hiding under the bed. When the lights are turned on, it usually becomes clear that it was only a toy that was left out, or a shadow cast through the window. But when it comes to SCP 3887 the child is telling the truth. There really is something lying in wait underneath their bed. What is SCP3887 though? Find out what this strange anomaly is and how it is connected to a brutal death.

As they usually manifest as a combination of childhood fears. I have a theory that if this continues the fears might be more internal taking on the ones that they are assigned to. This might also be a compounded problem because of a number of exiled people. Grenda may have taken on more maternal and paternal traits due to an underlying fear of family. The rules of the monsters are designed as to ensure that they don’t become one and the same with family and self . This is just a theory about how the society works

a great way to keep kids from complaining of a monster under the bed: put storage boxes under the bed it's also great to clear out space in their room...can't promise it'll work if the monster is in the closet tho
