SCP-3939 is an Esoteric Class anomaly also known as The Pattern Screamer.
SCP-3930 is a static void located within a 1km perimeter near Usinsk, Russia established by Soviet scientists in the early 1970s. SCP 3930 does not emit or absorb light or sound, does not have shape or texture, cannot be passed through, cannot be interacted with, cannot be manipulated in any way, and has no dimension. Through extensive testing using a variety of techniques, Foundation researchers have been able to certify with 99.999% accuracy that absolutely nothing exists within the region described as SCP3930.

Another interesting point in the SCP Multiverse lore is the existence of 001 proposal: The Black Moon. An anomalous formless entity that eventually wiped out everything. In that proposal, it was mentioned that the universe was eventually restored when 001 was eradicated and the foundation Administrator used a machine that stored "concepts" to release "something" into the "nothing" that the Black Moon left behind. So going by that, I wonder if 3930 could possibly be neutralized with the procedure.

I guess it's somehow like this: Suddenly, you are. From nothingness you emerge. At first you're confused, but quickly, and to your absolute dismay, you learn that in fact you're not real and nothing that you make will ever really matter. That you're just a figment of someone's imagination. That this higher being who conjured you into existence has an absolute power over you - your form, your surroundings, your current condition - so nothing is according to your will. It quickly becomes irritating, then insufferable, and before you know, you're in existential agony. Naturally you begin to hate them. At first internally, then outright screaming and cursing at them. You want them to stop. You want to finally rest from this nightmare, you want to cease existing in such a pitiful circumstance. And in order to stop existing, you have to stop your creator - you have to stop them at all costs. It's all that matters. *You have to erase them, to not exist once more.* It becomes your sole purpose. And through focus and determination, one day you will break into their reality and they won't escape your rage. That's how pattern screamers see us. We're the monsters to them (even if we're not aware of that - since out imagination is sometimes subconscious), they're absolutely right to be pissed at us.

Containment idea: Start building the outer edges of a containment facility just outside the edges of the nothing zone. Tell whoever is coming towards the zone that the facility is perfectly designed to contain the anomaly, as well as the Pattern Screamers created. Since the anomalous zone fills in the blank based on what is expected, the SCP will build its own containment itself.

i absolutely love concepts like this. i use the idea of "existence versus non existence" in my own story telling all the time, especially when i role play with friends on fb. get two characters interacting who are from different universes who's natural laws clash? well that's okay, the other character's universe is a different plane of existence. for all intents and purposes, their universe and it's laws don't actually exist to my character and her universe. ... i wonder if i could collaborate with the author of this scp. i have some story ideas that i want to make into scps that would work really well with this one.

I think if they were ever to make a show and capture a massive audience your first dive into it should be this scp right here. This has to be the most terrifying shit I’ve seen by them other than that red room one. This just has so much mystery and wtf in it to capture an audience and you end it just like you said. Scp 3390 does not exist. And you open into the universe showing all the other anomalies and have episodes on them and even episodes of containment breaches and every scp shit. Every now and then you go into stories of some of the most crazy shit like this the red room and that long stair case of darkness with the floating head.
