Seems like Shi Huang Ti was able to either get a willing soul to inhabit the statue, or animate them with higher intelligence. But the fact that there's not many such statues means former. An all data points to willing, otherwise there would be way more statues as well. However the real goal would be figuring out the flight method of SCP - 580. Surprised no one has said anything about the area between the moon and the sun. That is massive piece of territory for one little ship to cover. 92.628 million miles to be exact, and that's just linearly between the earth and the sun. Space is 3 dimensional as well, so that means they cover a huge distance in every direction, and therefore, at any given time, Mercury and Venus fall within their territory as well. Wonder if there are any terra cotta warriors in the upper atmosphere of Venus? Or maybe hiding out underground on Mercury in an anomalous protective shelter. Fascinating.

Considering the earth regularly enters and exits that territory depending on where the moon is in its orbit around earth relative to the sun, the real question is why is there not only a massive terracotta warriors presence on earth, but also supposedly the first emperors body?

Bruh.... "between the moon , and the sun" .... the moon orbits the earth, none of these points of reference are stationary. The earth IS between the moon and the sun every orbit as well.
