No idea how I came by this information, but I might as well write this before taking the amnestic. SCP 582 seems to draw it's powe from the sleeping god known as (expunged). However this seem like it was not intentional and became so due to humans feeding fears into said entity. If current protocol is executed correctly for long enough, SCP 582 might actually be terminated. However, I would like to test SCP 582 on SCP that can't read, write or speak. Perhaps we can terminate one that's being investigated for termination. Dr. (Redacted)

Couldn't someone just write that all instances, or 582 itself, formed into a containable entity? I mean they did it with one manifestation, just write that all the parts that make it up began to merge and formed a book or something

So if you can write a narrative involving SCP 582, would it be possible for a foundation member to write on where (possibly a new form of) SCP 582 became an ally to the foundation? Or better yet write in its cannon something like: _"[SCP 582] will not act on any actions detailed in any narratives written from [date they write this on] and onwards indefinitely unless approved by all O5 members in a matter similar to testing approval."_ With this wouldn't SCP 582, therefore, be neutralized because then the O5s just have to deny all future actions and it will be left motionless? or am I missing something?

Pataphysical anomalies always give me an existential crisis because like... take this comment. I am writing this comment of my own volition, I am transcribing my thoughts to this comment section. In an hour, I'll remember writing this... and I'll realize I always wrote this comment at 1054 23 March 2022. Why did I make that typo if I'm in control of my actions? Did I make a typo? Could I have ever done the thing right? How about all the times I decided to work on something I was passionate about but wound up staring at the wall? Pataphysical anomalies, at the very least, seem to describe in metaphor the experience of chronic depression. I wanted to work on the video game I've been making for 4 years now, but whoever is writing the book titled Araminta Uchenna didn't see fit to write my work into the narrative, so I'll spend today screaming at my body to get the fuck up, pour a cup of coffee, and do some sprite work while I continue to lie in bed and either sleep or replay a Final Fantasy game. It feels like the nature of chemical interactions and thermodynamics makes it so that all I can do is discover a narrative that has already been written. How is that any different than a fictional character? When I write, I may feel my characters thoughts as I imagine various scenarios, but the characters aren't actually deciding anything, they're just discovering a narrative that I wrote beforehand. How am I any different? How did I know that I'm not a consciousness that is only capable of perceiving my life as it unfolds?
@savvythedivineyethuggable74932 жыл бұрын
Better question: Does answering that question really matter? I mean, everything is kind of just as real as it was beforehand, at least in the way we perceive it (unless there's some type of ascension thing, in which case we'll just have to hope that we each get our own Matrix-like narrative). Everything about our lives have always affected us in specific ways, and being a book isn't going to change that. I still have a need to read/listen to stories even if they're my own, and you want to write your own story; us being "fiction" isn't going to change that. Also, if you would like, I have a suggestion. Depending on what your story is about, I kind of want a story that has coming back from the dead to be sort of common place and just a normal thing. Plus also, don't worry so much about whether or not you did it first, and instead focus on doing it well. Sure, have your own ideas, but you can take something basic and put it in a new direction.

@@savvythedivineyethuggable7493 It's a philosophical question, it's not supposed to have a right or relevant answer. You ask because pondering the question is the "fun" part. Whether I am real or fictional us about as relevant as whether the matrix hypothesis is correct. It doesn't matter to anyone but it provides something fun to ponder.

Why aren't nations proud of their native peoples' opinions', it's like a tarot reading, having the dictate of native nation's 'go-for-it' signed-off; it's like a, non-kill-it-all conservative-opposed God-says-'stop' partition, where you should backtrack onto your sacred-urban-blight and do ugly-shit back where you started, on previously-scarred-sacred-places that haven't been fully exploited since historically fucked way-back-when. I say it here but really just copy paste and credit (n): they gotta be political parties.
