SCP 6448 is a Keter Class anomaly also known as Not Deer.
SCP-6448 is an anomalous branch of the Cervidae family. All members of this group display heightened intelligence and are presumed to be sapient. Many SCP6448 specimens exhibit some form of physical malformation, causing them stand out from non-anomalous deer.
Aside from physical disfigurement, instances show severe divergence from the behaviour of other cervids. Namely, SCP-6448 are known to watch, observe and stalk humans, often for hours or days. This includes following humans to and from their homes, wherein they will proceed to steal belongings, weapons and food.

This is actually a (relatively) real phenomena. In the US, most sightings are in the areas in/near the Appalachian Mountains. Ask almost any local and they'll tell you "If you saw something.. no you didn't." The same sentiment towards never whistling in the woods at night. You're reccomended, if you think you see a not-deer, to pretend you didn't, back away slowly and leave it alone, then refuse to admit to yourself you had an encounter.

Can confirm, I live in northern Alabama and when hunting or hiking I am told not to imitate a deer in any way, even to get ones attention or to whistle, but I've never heard of a "Not-deer" before so this is slightly unsettling.

I think out of every scp, folklore, and fantasy creature, this one scares me the most, as a person who lives in the woods and commonly sees deer. I currently feel very unsafe in my living room in the dark and dead of night after watching this. Feeling very vulnerable after in the story the notdeer broke into that house so easily and began crawling like an arachnid towards the closet the woman was hiding in. 10/10 will never sleep again. good job!

We don't know enough to be sure containment will hold. Though they could certainly take steps that would force it to reveal its hand in order to escape.

It has been found in some areas of North America, including Canada and the United States, Norway and South Korea. Unbelievable how rare new scp videos on SCP Explained have become. These days 95% of the channel is just hypothetical SCP vs SCP interactions or "What if this pop-culture character was an SCP?" videos. I miss the 2020 fandom😔
