I’d love to see a cross test between 682 and 018 (the infinite velocity ball.) Then again 682 would probably just grow 100 sets of armored Baseball mits and catch it.

This one is really dumb. There was literally nothing left of it and no way for it to adapt since it didn't exist yet still somehow came back. So either 3930 doesn't actually makes things stop existing or the foundation is just going to have to kill the writers since they keep bringing this thing back.

For those questioning, it's been put forward that 682 doesn't "exist" in our universe fully. What we perceive is but a manifestation of another dimension's being "pushing" into our plane, like a finger under a sheet. If you push the finger down and make the sheet flat again, it seems "destroyed," but the finger is still there, and can "remanifest" as easily as it pleases. Not unlike the concept of Cthulhu and other Old Gods in the Lovecraftian Mythos.

My theory about the fact that it came back in his containment chamber is that he's intelligent enough to think of leaving a droplet of his blood for safety, so that he can regenerate again.

Ok, this is my hypotesis. After birth/creation the first adaptation it got in order to survive in a reality where things often get destroyed was the acquisition of the power of "necessity". Maybe 682 is now a necessary being, it cannot not exist so even if you delete it it will just appear again. It's not a bug, it's a feature.

SCP-682 of the Oh, Death universe was killed by the anomaly that destroyed all life in that dimension, though it is unclear if that SCP-682 was identical to the still living SCP-682, or if their was something different about it that allowed the Oh, Death anomaly to kill the hard to destroy reptile (which presumably made the souls of SCP Foundation within said universe happy and presumably able to rest in peace, unless SCP-682 has a soul of its own and became a ghost (demon or shadow figure if its adaptability transcends death).
