SCP-7185 is an unidentified machine located within an abandoned factory in the Southern Cascadian Mountain Range, Oregon, United States. SCP7185 is not connected to any exterior power or piping, but maintains three levers that control its operations. If both black-tipped levers are switched down, and a currently rusted-over lever is pulled, SCP 7185 will produce a green liquid dubbed SCP-7185-1.
SCP-7185-1 is an alcoholic beverage with a semi-viscous consistency, which when ingested, will result in a series of changes to subjects bodies over the span of a several-week-spanning period which will result in the bodily mutation and deformation of subjects. SCP-7185-1 works to successfully degrade the effectiveness of depressants, opiates, and stimulants following an extended period post-ingestion. These changes will vary on a case-by-case basis, and inevitably result in the subjects expiration. Following the expiration of subjects, the anomalous cause of their deaths will cease manifesting.

Those come from people who have actually *tried* BetterHelp and gave personal accounts of their experiences (myself included, hello, hi). Whether you choose to believe it or not is on you, but the stuff OP is talking about isn’t on a greater scale like the data thing, it’s literally just people sharing their experiences with the service.

I'm not talking about the data breach (although that's pretty egregious in of itself). There have been countless firsthand experiences from LGBT+ people who turned to Betterhelp for help and received harmful homophobic/transphobic "advice". Although it is technically alleged, the sheer number of cases speak for something. My best friend was one such unfortunate case, when they went to Betterhelp for mental health guidance regarding their gender identity and experience with dysphoria, and the "therapist" they were given "advice" that was incredibly transphobic and dismissive of their experience. One way or another, Betterhelp isn't doing nearly enough to bias screen the "therapists" they hire, which can do incredible harm to people who turn to it for help. It's an irresponsible practice, and by the sounds of it not much has been done to fix the problem.

Huh... This stuff kind of sounds like meth. I was hooked on dope for a few years and seems like I remember most of those side effects - minus turning into a tree - though I _did_ see the tree people (looked like people/faces up in the trees looking at you) and shadow people (shadowy shapes peeking around corners and stuff) after several days to a couple of weeks awake - almost all lights have tracers after just a day or two. I remember stopping on the highway once at probably 2-3 AM because there was a truck moving slow in front of me that was pulling a flatbed trailer with a literal UFO on it that was blocking both lanes and I thought it seemed logical that something like this would happen at this time of day because there was nobody else in sight - I was astounded. After I stopped and rubbed my eyes, there was nothing there.. Stuff starts getting _super_ weird and freaky after 2 weeks awake. I remember 21 days was the longest I stayed awake which was my first experience - it looked like there was a translucent film of white noise or rain in front of my face at all times in the last week. I guess you kind of get "micro sleep" or whatever because you kind of develop narcolepsy or something where you'll just nod out for a couple seconds whether you're talking or driving or eating or whatever - best to be in a safe place when that starts to set in. But I finally went to sleep after seeing this demon dragon thing in the clouds that were still slightly lit by the already set sun one night. I remember after being awake that long, I was scared to go to sleep - like it felt like I was dying or something. Meth seems like it has some kind of evil energy attached to it. I always kept my sanity but I saw weird stuff and other people went completely nuts from the weird stuff they saw - though I think most of them eventually recovered. I've had almost zero energy in the last 7+ years since I quit - but at least I'm alive and maybe I'll get back to normal someday. The point? I'm just rambling, plus the juice sounded almost exactly like meth - also, since quitting that crap, I'm a walking anti-drug campaign - at least anti-meth and anti-opiates/opioids (which was hands down the hardest thing I ever quit - I loved the hell out of them until I didn't have them and/or tried to quit - then, the withdrawal was close to the worst thing I've ever experienced). So the point is, don't do drugs kids - drugs are bad, mmkay.

This one was creepy, and I really enjoyed it. But I feel like it lacks a bit of depth. It seems like SCP could have uncovered some information about the inventor of the machine, or information about the downfall of the town (presuming it has something to do with the machine). In other cases, we see the SCP researchers at least speculate on the nature of the device or substance, and often there's at least one semi-reckless experiment (no D-class personnel were given the juice? Really?). Maybe this could get a part 2 at some point to expand it.
