Hmm, judging by how it feeds it isn't just like a coral, it is a coral. Probably a leather or other soft coral that managed to make the move onto land. There are corals that primarily filter feed, but have sticky tentacle like structures much like anemones and if any creature small enough and unlucky enough touches these tentacles, the coral will eat them instead. Green star polyp is a good real life counterpart as it forms a soft skeleton that the polyps (the animals themselves) hide in. And yeah, it'll eat larger shrimps should the need arise.

AW MAN! I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS! You always know how to create tension in these different SCP scenarios! I was like; "OMG is her really going to have the little baby get eaten!?!?" but no, it's the grandma that gets it instead! And that was properly gruesome! Keep up the great work Dr. Bob! I watch a lot of SCP channels, but yours has become my favorite!

the only female figures i had in life (mother, stepmother) where psychos that abused me, so watching the sweet beginning of the grandmother made me already tear up, and when she got killed i just uncontrollobly started bursting into tears and sobbing i didnt expect my reaction at all

This is the thing I like about you.Whenever you tell us about other scps we can watch at the end of the video and the scp tries kill you you always find a way to out think them which is really cool. And btw your my favourite scp explainer,if you get what I mean.Keep it up👌👍

well that's a relief, I've got a blanket next to me right now. Luckily I always end up knocking it off my bed and into the gap between it and my wall, which is very dusty. Let's hope that's enough to keep it fed and stop it from turning
