A theory ive seen in regards to this video is that the laptop, or at least the program, is in fact controlling everything in the house. The reason all the weird stuff starts happening is because the Foundation agents entered the house and so the program is trying to account for/accomadate their presence (hence the interior expanding to fit more people). Its like how when you add mods to a game, it can break the game due to glitches or conflicting scripts.

Plus all the malicious spooky stuff started happening when they accessed the file labelled "contingency"

I feel like "contingency" was meant to be activated in some sort of emergency in which the house needed to activate defenses, and the word "Cardoon" was the sort of 'magic word' to trigger it. And when the operative asked his friend the meaning of the word, he said "Cardoon" therefore activating whatever contingency plan the program had.

Oh, neat! Paws is on an Evan Royalty/SCP streak. Most people only look at Overlord and Dollhouse, but First Contact and Ghost Town are solid as well.

@@juanemarek They’re also SCP videos on Evan Royalty’s channel, but they’re not live action. I think they’re done using the GTA5 engine, but he’s a skilled enough animator/cinematographer that it may as well be magic to me. Give them a watch!

Evan Royalty has amazing skills when it comes to cinematography. This arguably is the better SCP video he has come out with which is ironic because this is before Overlord, which was a much bigger project than Dollhouse.

the triangles and squares from the overhead camera is an interesting thing AI can do called "detection", and it uses "bounding boxes" to "classify" and "label" the important pixels from the rest of the image. there's some technical terms in that explanation but it is as simple as it sounds. first the AI, typically a neural network of some kind such as a convoluted neural network (CNN), will measure each pixel intensity in the image and when it finds matches to similar images from existing data, it can draw a box around the pixels that apply to that match and then label that box. so for the triangles it detects a single person and can likely classify them as "humanoid" and label them as "friendly" or use other data to provide a specific tag like "alpha 1-3" or something. with the box it does the exact same thing but there's some extra logic along the lines of "if multiple bounding boxes overlap, re-draw the box to include each of the other boxes. so instead of overlapping triangles, we just have one clean square where multiple detected objects exist.

These definitely need to be more focused and smaller scale. It's clear they didn't have the kind of team needed for something like Overlord and should have stuck with things on the scale of Dollhouse. Or even use a game or game engine to put it all together.
