Oh sweet! Always wanted to be cured! (Also while I’m here, my theory is that 049 used to be a legitimate necromancer and brought people back for real, like as themselves. But then people were dying faster than it could save them during the Black Plague in France and in many cases the people it saved just got the plague and died again. 049 would then slowly go insane with grief and eventually create the cure we all know and love today.)

You do know that 035 gives a canonical history of 049 right? 049 is just a regular plague doctor who went insane during the Black Plague. SCP 049 Somehow gained his ability to kill people after the time he went insane, he went insane in the first place because he was trying to find a cure for the plague and had so many dead/dying patients so often,

@Sir Knight IIRC it doesn’t specify if life is the pestilence, especially since 049 doesn’t notice the pestilence in one of the doctors for a good while. I think them dying is more of a side effect of its ‘cure’, which it mentions is not perfect, thus the whole turning people into zombies thing. I don’t think we have much strong evidence as to what the pestilence actually is or if it exists at all.

I love how accurate this is, SCP-049-2 remains "Inactive" when not giving specific "Orders" from SCP-049 or being provoked. It can slightly react to different things like Sounds, lights and direct contact with it. I love how this ASMR Video not only is relaxing but also tests SCP-049-2 reactions and level of aggression upon being provoked by thiese factors too much. Really love your work, thank you for this!

For anyone who does not know, SCP-049 performs crude surgery on the victims of his lethal touch. These corpses become active, but barely performing the minimum motor functions such as walking. The SCP Foundation granted the use of dead corpses to give to SCP-049 for the use of studying behavior.

I really really like how you do your time stamps! I love these kinds of medical videos but for whatever reason latex gloves are like nails on a chalkboard for me, so bein able to skip it so cleanly and not miss out on the rest of the tingles is wonderful. I find with other people's videos who don't mark it in the time stamps I usually just give up on the video and end up disappointed
