@GregoryTheGr8ster Ooh, that's a really good question! I am partial to a silly dance/party ending, but it would depend on the story really. I had an idea for a story where your limbs drop off throughout the game, become sentient and crawl away. You then have to keep replacing the parts you lose with makeshift prosthetics (chainsaw for a leg, minigun for an arm, etc), until you're essentially just a walking mass of metal and weapons. There would also be some themes of "when do you stop being you" as you lose the body parts. The final battle is then with all of the parts of your body that you lost, which have melded together into a monstrous version of your original self. One ending would be you winning and getting all your body parts back, another would be you losing and having your brain transplanted into the monster version and wondering if you are you still you. :)

If you start with your fellow miners you can eat well for the first few weeks. Afterwords you'll need to follow mole people to find the best cave mushrooms and maybe consider letting that prehistoric parasite use you as a host to share nutrients. If all else fails just ask either the telepathic rock or the living oil slick. At least one of them killed the dinosaurs so they know survival.

A perfect example of "twisted villain logic". Scarlet wanted to kill past self to prevent her from closing the loop? Instead of ordering the monsters to "Escort her from the mine ASAP"? It'd be actually interesting horror game where villain is actually just want you to leave, but hero persist unwillingly towards his own undoing.

Aside paradox related questions, I really like this game's story. It's surprisingly refreshing to see Bobbette actually take note of documents and confront people over their lies. Makes me wonder what happens if you miss some documents. Some text do contain typos and need better descriptions, the "sex-legged" (28:52) insect is more machine than anything (53:14).

The lore in this game sort of reminded me of the story of Henrietta Lacks, a real woman who's tumor turned out to be immortal and scientists are still growing and studying those tumor cells to this day, decades after she died.

That monster in the beginning look funny haha edit: I strongly believe the sound the car makes in the first ending is definitely NOT a car sound, more like a scooter (not criticizing, just highlighting the funny aspect of it) edit 2: 16:07 for the most horryfing text ever

music and environmental design are pretty good. The text definitely needed another once-over (both for typos and for general quality). The sanity mechanic is totally unnecessary, since it just results in Bobbette having a tone-destroying comedic freakout. The rest is a bit amateur hour, but nothing worth complaining about.

Literally everyone can make games in RPG Maker and I was baffled once those got sold on Steam, without any unique assets and probably no license. I never finished mine because I failed at making the light circle you see in this game.

it wasn't kidding about the first ending being dissapointing, that was bullshit! "i'm about to go to college, i can't drive" listen, i know he died like ten years ago, and mom died a year ago, but that leaves nine years she could have given you lessons on how to drive a car. the weird part is, it sounded like a chainsaw. i thought she died by some chainsaw massacre cliche cutting through the car and beheading her. nope. complete crap. at least they were honest about it though. very curious about what the mirror meant, perhaps the rest of the game shall reveal more clues.

from the looks of it: main character meets Scarlet just before Scarlet implodes, infecting main character and using her body as it’s new host thing, then some funky time travel makes main character the original Scarlet found in the mine - I think???

Scarlet was an alternate future counterpart of Marion (mc's canon name). Basically Scarlet implodes and infects Marion, who starts mutating. She tries to kill herself, but her newfound powers instead make her travel to the past and being found by the scientists. Basically a stable time loop. Fortunately A House For Alesa 3 reveals the canon ending is the one in which Marion escapes the mine.
