Oh my 343 lol, if that's your opinion you probably shouldn't read Games Reality Benders Play. In that particular "canon" SCP-343 isn't God, he's actually an extremely powerful and malevolent reality bender that more or less attempts to steal the soul/essence(?) of SCP-239 (the innocent little girl reality bender that Clef tried to kill). I mean, as they say there's no such thing as "canon" on the wiki and there are multiple "canons" that exist but... um, yeah, you might not wanna read that one if you don't want your view of 343 as a nice guy ruined lol.

Whether 343 is or isn't the captial "G" God is deliberately left pretty ambiguous, but either way He seems pretty much all powerful, all knowing and all benevolent, nothing the Foundation can do can keep Him contained when He doesn't want to be, nothing can seem to harm Him (except _maybe_ 035-914), so I really don't think they need to worry about other anomalous groups (AWCY, CotBG, GOC, Sarkic Cults, Serpent's Hand, etc.) either harming Him or using Him for harmful purposes.

How does 343 interact with the more dangerous SCPs? We know he can just ignore the danger, such as his interactions with 096... or literally be oblivious to things like 682. But what about 053? Surely she could use the company with someone who won't fly into a rage after 10 minutes, try to kill her, then have a heart attack. We see he's friendly with Cain, but is he taking sides or does he also spend time with Abel? Could he take his eyes off 173 without worrying about it trying to snap his neck? We've seen a couple interactions with 343 and Dr. Bright now, but I'd love to see how 343 gets along with Alto Clef. What about 055? Does 343 know about it, or is it an out of sight out of mind kind of thing for the seemingly all-powerful entity? And does 343 feel any sympathy for SCP-1000, or does he treat them like 682 and claim they're not one of his creations? So many unanswered questions.

I always felt like the inclusion of god as a scp is an odd choice from a narrative perspective. It makes you wonder how many of the world ending scp are actually a danger with him around. So many times where you wonder why the foundation doesn't just ask scp 343 for help or why he doesn't try to proactively help when shit hits the fan. I mean sometimes he does help and sometimes he doesn't. It's just weird.

Meaning 343 is technically an Apollyon-class anomaly. Since he's only there out of his own volition and can leave whenever he wants, he is literally impossible to contain and could, in theory, wipe out the entire universe. But 343 doesn't _want_ to do that and enjoys his time at the Foundation, so such an event, while possible, is extremely unlikely.

I learned recently that 42 has a deeper meaning. Douglas Adams was a computer science major, and in computer language, an asterisk is used to translate as 'whatever you want it to mean'. And '42' is the designation for the asterisk. So Deep Thought, the computer that was asked about the answer to life the universe and everything, answers the way a computer would.
