People ask which SCP-001 is real Either Clef (Gate Guardian) or Bright (Factory) The narrator mentions Procedure 110-Montauk, which is a procedure to be enacted should Clef leave its' post. And yet she directly states that "The Factory is SCP-001." 110-Montauk is possibly another drip in the bath of lies. Note that the information regarding Clef is already under insane levels of security. If they hide Bright under THAT, then there's probably a good chance that this is the legitimate 001. The most legendary, interesting, fleshed out, SCP 001. My favorite, and the true SCP 001 to me. The arguments between the people who took the factory makes sense to me. The way it was found and made, makes sense how near no one knew about it. The way it was used makes sense, trying to burn it, running off with some of the items, and trying to use it for good are all basic human interactions expected of such events. It has just enough elements of the supernatural to make me believe it. It is so interesting. The writer did an exceptional job.

If there isnt a computer in the radius, SCP-4000 will continue infecting the machine. This infection is most popular in the freeware computer game, “SCP - Containment Breach.”, with its frequent errors due to its outdated engine. the best SCPs to me are the ones presented in a professional stoic document. not as stories with characterization. for some people this is what theyd prefer (I even see some in the comments). but the abstract format of the SCP foundation, is meant (by my perception) to break from traditions of fictional narrative, using vagueness and mystery to conduct its horror and conceptualization. Given the bare essential information and documentation, nothing more (sometimes less). this "story" deconstructs the whole narrative structure of SCP rendering its existence utterly self defeating. This could be seen as "deviating from the norm" but for something that is already deviating, when you deviate again you end up exactly in "normal" territory. notice how in every other entry. the subject is the focus. in this. the people surrounding it are the focus. with little focus placed on the subjects only referring to them as "things" and "them" most of the time. Another thing to me... Is that this is a very very information bleeding document. How would this (in kayfabe terms to the SCP Foundation concept) be so open in such a disposition-y way with little to no redactments anywhere. Im not deep on the lore. I'm not even familiar with the "which one is real" argument. So you guys might know more than me how this is actually really great. but one of the appeals to SCP's are the short simple and easy to understand concepts and this is none of those things. and of course if you believe me to be utterly wrong, you are, in your own perception totally correct, this is just my take, and yours may be more valid than mine.
